It's continuing its partnership with Respawn...
Titanfall has proven to be quite the success for EA and Respawn Entertainment, so this won't be a surprise. EA confirmed during the company's latest financial briefing (via CVG) that they have plans for more of the multiplayer mech franchise down the line.
EA CEO Andrew Wilson said of the game, "We're excited to announce that EA is continuing its partnership with Vince Zampella and his Respawn Entertainment team, building on our success in delivering Titanfall, the biggest interactive entertainment event in the year so far. Through a new policy agreement, we will be working with Respawn to bring new Titanfall experiences to players worldwide."
The game sold almost a million copies in March on Xbox One and PC, with the Xbox 360 version releasing last month. Several sources claim that a Titanfall sequel is actively in the works and may not be an Xbox exclusive.
