Assassin's Creed Saga to Continue on Xbox 360, PS3
Posted by Jeremy Thomas on 05.18.2014

If you still have just an Xbox 360 or PS3 and yet want to continue along in the Assassin's Creed sage, you're in luck. Ubisoft has announced that while Assassin's Creed: Unity will only be on the PC, PS4 and Xbox One, they will continue producing new entries in the franchise on the previous-gen consoles "for the foreseeable future."

Company chief Yves Guillemot said, "Assassin's Creed: Unity will be another major entry in the franchise's history. The game will showcase the city of Paris with amazing next-gen graphics and will incorporate great new innovations that will be revealed at E3. The title will be released this fall on Xbox One, PS4 and PC. We have not disclosed our plan yet for the Xbox 360 and PS3 SKUs, however we have made it clear as a company that we will expect to continue supporting both consoles for the foreseeable future."

As previously reported, there are unconfirmed reports that a game code-named Assassin's Creed: Comet set for release on the PS3 and Xbox 360, with a rumored playable Templar character.
