Straight from Batman himself...
In an interview with Groovey.TV (which you can see below), voice actor Kevin Conroy said that Batman: Arkham Knight will be released in January. Conroy is, of course, the voice of Batman in not only the Arkham games, but in Batman: the Animated Series and countless other DC animated adaptations.
When asked about his current projects, he said: "I have a massive game you might have heard of called Arkham Knight, a little indie game. It was supposed to come out in January, we've been working on it for a year and a half and it's still not done. So it's going to come out next January."
The game will be released on PC, Playstation 4 and Xbox One. It was supposed to be out later this year. Warner Bros has not officially announced a date, but it will be some time in 2015. Conroy said he thought the game would be out in January 2014, but it was announced in March 2014.
When asked for a statement, Warner Bros simply said it was "scheduled for release in 2015."
Here's a synopsis: The "explosive finale" to Rocksteady's Arkham trilogy takes place one year after the events of Arkham City, with Batman at the very peak of his powers, when a gallery of villains descend upon Gotham and team up to bring the Dark Knight down once and for all.
The main villain is the Arkham Knight, a character unique to the game universe and created by Geoff Johns (Green Lantern, Aqua Man and Justice League). IT's said to include a rougher, more extreme and militarized version of Batman.
