It'll change things for the franchise...
Sledgehammer Games is committed to make Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare more than just a new paint job on the best-selling franchise and according to its founders, that is a core goal of the multiplayer. Co-founders Glen Schofield and Michael Condrey spoke with Metro and said that the game, their first in the Call of Duty franchise, will shake things up when it comes to multiplayer.
Speaking of the game's futuristic elements such as mech suits, hover bikes and directed energy weapons, Schofield said: "We'll have our own style. The exoskeletons are definitely in there and that's the core of the game."
Condrey added, "Our multiplayer has what I'm going to call the biggest set of new, as you call it, cool gear that you've seen in a long time. It's a big step forward, from three years in development we've been able to innovate across the game. Everything you saw today... just imagine what that's going to mean for multiplayer. You're going to find that new is what it's all about."
The game will release on November 4th for Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS3, PS4 and PC.
