[Misc] Virtual Soccer Season Reaching Peak at FIFA Interactive World Cup

FIFA Interactive World Cup final May 24 in Berlin
After seven months of competition, 32 of the world's best interactive soccer players from 18 nations will meet to face off this Saturday to compete for the title of FIFA Interactive World Player 2008. The tournament will be played on the PS3 in Berlin's Sony Centre. The finalists played their way through 20 live qualifiers or faced on of over 25,000 players who competed in the online portion of the tournament to make it this far.
The winner will win a cash prize of $20,000 and an invitation to FIFA World Player Gala in December.
Spectators will be treated to appearances of real-life soccer stars and music celebrities.
The interactive zone opens at 11am with the final tournament kicking off at 4:00pm.
