2K Sports and Coaches combine to help raise cancer awareness.
2K Sports has announced the top 21 high school basketball players selected for the pre-season 2008 2K Sports New York State High School All-Star Team. Nominated by a panel of respected scouts and basketball writers, each of the players selected, along with their respective coaches, will be honored in a live presentation at halftime during the 2K Sports Classic Benefiting Coaches vs. Cancer championship game at Madison Square Garden on November 21, 2008.
The Coaches vs. Cancer program, a nationwide collaboration between the American Cancer Society and National Association of Basketball Coaches, exists to leverage the strength, community leadership and celebrity of basketball coaches to raise awareness and reduce cancer risk through education programs while raising funds for the American Cancer Society's fight against cancer. Since 1996, the event has raised more than $40 million for the benefit of Coaches vs. Cancer. 2K Sports has sponsored and supported the event for last 4 years.
Here's the list of the all kids who were selected for the Preseason New York State High School All-Star Team, congrats.
