Neversoft No Longer Working on Tony Hawk

The torch has been passed...
It looks like the decade-long relationship between Neversoft and the Tony Hawk franchise has come to an end, at least according to a Great Falls Tribune interview with Neversoft co-founder and President Joel Jewett.
"It's probably best for the franchise," Jewett said of the split. "It's time for someone else to add fresh ideas to it."
The interview ran in the Montana paper's Sunday issue and chronicled Jewett's rise from the streets of Great Falls to the videogame scene, which included releasing Tony Hawk's Pro Skater in 1999. Toward the end of the piece, Jewett announced the decision to pass the Tony Hawk franchise to another developer so that Neversoft could focus on the Guitar Hero series.
