Capcom Officially Announces Dead Rising 2

First screens included.
After a video leaked last week of what certainly seemed to be Dead Rising 2, Capcom has officially announced today that the game is now in development for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and the PC. The game will now take place in Fortune City which seems to resemble Las Vegas and will include all sorts of new in-game objects to mercilessly beat zombies with.
Dead Rising 2 is set several years after the infamous zombie invasion of Willamette. It seems that the virus was not contained and it has now spread throughout the US.
The game is being developed by Glue Castle Games which include some members of the original game and the producer Keiji Inafune.
No details have been given on a release date not on any gameplay features but we expect those shortly.

Is it supposed to look as if someone recorded it to a cell phone off of a TV monitor? Or is that still the leaked trailer?

That voice at the start, "its happening again". I'd recognise it anywhere, thats Frank. He must of had Isabellas research in the files he put together which allowed a drug to replicated stunting the growth of the parastic larvae. Its good to know, I mean his survival with the vital info was the only good thing in the real outcome. Lets hope it doesn't gain a resistance, eh?
