Thanks to the protection of the great Dokapon Orb, the Kingdom of Dokapon was at peace and safe from monsters. Everyone in Dokapon prospered financially, from the King himself... all the way down the food chain to the lowly farmers and janitors. For you see, if there's one thing the natives of Dokapon are obsessed with, it's their wallets.
But one day, a dark shadow descended over the kingdom! Monsters moved in and seized the towns! Did something happen to the Dokapon Orb!? The citizens were powerless to repel them, and in no time at all, the economy of Dokapon began to plummet.
Desperate to get rid of the new menace, the King has called for heroes from abroad to save the kingdom! He has offered his throne and the hand of his daughter, Princess Penny, to whoever can save the kingdom! But are you worthy to rule? Dokapon needs a leader who is not only strong but who also knows how to make tremendous amounts of cash! Please, help return peace and prosperity to Dokapon once again....
WHAT IT IS...
* Dokapon Journey blends the elements of a competitive board game and a fantasy RPG.
* It is an addictive game that's easy to pick up and hard to put down (kind of like when a robot picks up a magnet...).
* It can be played single player or with your friends (up to four players).
* If it is played multiplayer, it WILL prompt a lot of yelling, hurt feelings, and possible wrecking of friendships (which will inevitably result in more of that "single player" stuff we discussed earlier...).
* Because games can be saved and continued at a later time, it is the perfect game for both long car trips AND brief intermissions between acts when you go to the opera. How versatile!"
