Capcom hosting blood drive on release date of Resident Evil 5.
Gamers in the Los Angeles area can help give to the American Red Cross and pick up some Resident Evil 5 swag in the process. On the same day that Resident Evil 5 releases, Friday the 13, Capcom is teaming with the American Red Cross to host a blood drive.
The event will take place at the World of Wonder Gallery on Hollywood Boulevard in Hollywood from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. At the drive, kiosks will be showcasing the game for fans on their way to pick up the game. Also, fans who donate will be able to get exclusive event items, such as hand-numbered posters, bumper stickers and buttons. They will also be entered for a chance to win a copy of the game or one of the new red Xbox 360 Resident Evil limited edition consoles.
