It looks as if Resident Evil 5 will have some downloadable content and it will be multiplayer. With an added bonus it includes trophies check out the list.
Bronze: Army of One
Win 30 matches in Slayers
Bronze: Eye of the Tiger
Win 30 matches in Survivors
Silver: The Team That Slays Together...
Win 30 matches in Team Slayers.
Silver: We Will Survive
Win 30 matches in Team Survivors.
Bronze: Keep the Good Times Rolling
Chain a 20-defeated combo in Slayers.
Bronze: It Takes Two to Tango
Chain a 40-defeated combo in Team Slayers.
Bronze: It's All About the Points
Score at least 40,000 points in Survivors
Bronze: There's no "I" in Team
Score at least 80,000 points in Team Survivors.
Bronze: Let's Get This Party Started!
Unlock all selectable characters in Versus
Silver: Bringing the Pain
Defeat 100 players using physical attacks in Versus.
Wasn't aware that Broze trophies existed. Please explain to us how one can get a hold of these sacred trophies.

Seriously, is there a point to trophies? Do they unlock content? I don't get why I should care.

Trophies?
Well, personal gratification mostly. Then there's the false sense that video game makers are putting more into the game.
Personally, I thought they were stupid at first. But now they're sort fueling some of my gameplay. Hunting down 1,000 light spheres in PoP was quite fun.
