Godfather 2 To Add New Multiplayer Mode

Today Electronic Arts announced that a multiplayer mode will be available as a downloadable patch as soon as the game is released on April 7th in North America and April 10 in Europe. This new mode, labeled Don Control, will take place within 6 maps already available on the game. In Don control up to 16 players will vie for control of the city as the Ultimate don. Your goal will be to recruit family members by inticing them with a share of the profits you gain. Said profits will come from currency from each player's single-player campaign.

The money will be rewarded or deducted upon victory or defeat of the map respectively. The multiplayer game will also feature the Don View like the single player game so you can coordinate attacks on the different families with an overall view.
