Street Fighter 3rd Strike Online Edition Preview (XBLA)

JDL goes hands on with Street Fighter 3rd Strike Online Edition. Is the game looking good after all these years? Click the link to find out.
Street Fighter 3rd Strike: The Online Edition brings everything I love about the 3rd installment of Street Fighter to the Xbox 360 and then it even brings extras worthy of a seperate download or a mail order DVD. The game itself features an option to change the game's appearance rather radically -- players can add lines on the screen or fish-tube the fight to make the game look just like it would if it were being played at a local arcade or laundromat! Instant appeal for me.
If that wasn't enough Capcom's Seth Killian also told me all about The Vault, a cache of unlockable goodies that players can access, such as fan art, remixed songs BY fans and other for-fans-by-fans unlockables as well as Capcom related concept art and all new art.
For those of you who like to go hardcore and have crazy A rank battles involving anti-hyper combo parries and all sorts of ridiculous maneuvers, Third Strike offers the most interesting add on of all. While I didn't get to see it in action, TS:OE will let gamers upload videos of their most epic encounters to YouTube. Alternatively, this works against you as a buddy can upload your most humiliating curbstomp battle against them, then post it on Facebook.
Look for 3rd Strike Online Edition later this summer!
This is a God-awful preview. You actually managed to tell us LESS than we already know.

This was the biggest waste of a click, and the laziest "preview" i've seen. Good job.

I submitted a much nicer version of the first two posts (before they were posted) but for some reason it didn't get approved. I guess you have to be a dick to get your comments approved around here.

I can only comment on what I was shown and what I was told about. We spent about 10 minutes on SFIII, tops.
