70 plus minigames as you seek to stop the ultimate invasion!
We have all had the same nightmare. An army of technologically advanced cute little bunnies go mad and attack us, enslaving mankind. We have no weapons to defend ourselves…but wait! We do have this nunchaku-like Wii controller! Ok, maybe not, but this is the premise for Rayman Raving Rabbids, a collection of action mini-games that use the Wii controller to kick bunny ass in all sorts of cool ways.
Show them bunnies who is boss!
Mini-games range from racing, to dancing, to first person shooters and all of them involve this maniac rabbits getting some. For example, one dancing mini-game features Rayman dancing to the theme song of "Pulp Fiction" as rabbits come from all sides. Once a rabbit steps on one of the circles, it lights up, requiring you to move the Wii-mote in the direction of the circle to kick him off. Just like Parappa the Rapper, but with more interaction and bunny kicking results.
One of the shooter mini-games had you standing still as scuba gear-wearing rabbits emerged from the water and you needed to drown them with carrot juice. You used the remote to aim and shoot and the nunchaku to pump more carrot juice into your gun, which required you to pump it furiously, just like you would a super soaker or any of those other toy water guns. Another shooter mini-game had you with a toilet plunger gun and you had to move across the level shooting rabbits, with the remote used for aim and the nunchaku for reloading.
The racing mini-games where also quite cool. One of them had Rayman skydiving and you had to use the remote to guide him trough some colored rings, while another was a typical lap race in which you raced across a level against three opponents, using the remote to steer and the nunchaku to whip your mount, which was a huge rhinoceros.
Rayman Raving Rabbids packs 70 mini-games in all that exploit the Wii-mote in several fun ways. Look for more info of the game as it nears launch.
