Dragon Ball Z: Shin Budokai Another Road (PSP) Preview
Posted by Armando Rodriguez on 02.13.2007

The gameplay in Another Road is very similar to last year's title. Another Road is this year's single player story mode which has the player taking control of Trunks in a futuristic scenario very different from the current lore. Shin Budokai also features a Network mode for two player combat, a Z Trial Mode that carries the Survival, Time Attack and Challenge modes and an Arcade Mode that will allow you to fight a single contest against the CPU.

The game will feature 24 fighters from the Dragon Ball Z, Dragon Ball GT and Dragon Ball Movies universes. The controls are mapped out much like last year's game, with Smash Attacks mapped to the triangle button, Rush Attacks on the square button, Ki Attacks on the circle button. The X button will block and the left shoulder button charges your Ki. The right shoulder button triggers your Aura Mode.

Graphics and Sound are very similar to last year's title as well, with the only modifications being added voicework and better camera angles. Dragon Ball Z Shin Budokai: Another Road looks like a good follow up to last year's title, bringing the same action DBZ fans crave with little modifications. The game is scheduled to be released on March the 20th.
