Insecticide (DS) Review
(04.17.2008)
- Jacob Lopez
Genre: Action Adventure Game System: PC, Nintendo DS
Insecticide is Crackpot Entertainment’s first game. It combines two different types of gameplay, platforming action and detective/puzzle solving. The development team’s attempt was to make a completely new experience out of two different genres, and do it seamlessly. Does the former LucasArts team manage to impress? |

Ninja Gaiden: Dragon Sword (DS) Review
(04.08.2008)
- Jacob Lopez
Genre: Action Adventure Game System: Nintendo DS
Ninja Gaiden: Dragon Sword marks Ryu Hayabusa’s return to his old friends at Nintendo. For those of you who don’t know, Ryu is one of videogame’s original badasses; he has fought off legions of demons and monsters, made hell his bitch and even ended up rescuing the girl. If Chuck Norris and Ryu Hayabusa got into a fistfight, my money would be on Ryu. Will he live up to our expectations on the DS version?

Advance Wars: Days of Ruin (DS) Review
(02.29.2008)
- Jacob Lopez
Genre: Strategy Game System: Nintendo DS
Advance Wars: Days of Ruin is the latest title in the turn-based strategy series and leaves little to be desired. Ok, so I am one of the poor saps who never got the chance to play the previous Advance Wars games. Why? Because the other two were so damn hard to find after a while. Still, it’s no excuse. What can I say about the latest instalment? |
