The 411 Movies Top 5 10.23.09: Week 188 - Top 5 Hottest Horror Villains
Posted by Trevor Snyder on 10.23.2009

Everyone loves a bad girl, right? I mean, no offense to the heroines featured in last week's column, but there's just something extra-sexy about the girls featured in this week's edition. Maybe it's the excitement of not knowing whether they're going to kiss you or kill you (or both, in the case of Sil). Whatever it is, these are some undeniably beautiful baddies.

THE TOP 5 HOTTEST HORROR VILLAINS

TREVOR SNYDER
HONORABLE MENTIONS

Asami (Eihi Shiina), Audition - Even though the movie depicts one of the worst possible outcomes you could get from a relationship, it's easy to see why a guy like Shigeharu would fall for a cutie like Asami.

Angelique (Valentina Vargas), Hellraiser: Bloodline - I'm not all about the whole S&M dominatrix scene, but there's just something about Angelique. I'd rather not examine what this says about me.

THE TOP 5

5. Jennifer (Megan Fox), Jennifer's Body - OK, sure, the movie bombed (although I dug it), and everyone is pretty sick of Ms. Fox nowadays. But, c'mon, let's not pretend she's not ridiculously hot in this movie.

4. Sil (Natasha Henstridge), Species - Yeah, I know she kills you while mating…but it would be kinda worth it, right? And, yes, I did hate to have to crop the image below. But, after all, this is a family column.

3. Baby (Sheri Moon Zombie), House of 1000 Corpses & The Devil's Rejects - Nepotism can be pretty annoying, but I'll forgive Rob Zombie for sticking his hot wife into both of these films, especially since she actually portrayed a pretty decent psycho.

2.Countess Elisabeth (Ingrid Pitt), Countess Dracula - When it comes to horror hotties, you gotta give it up for the women of Hammer. And the one who ruled all, in my opinion, was Pitt as Countess Elisabeth, loosely based on Elisabeth Bathory.

1.Santanico Pandemonium (Salma Hayek), From Dusk Till Dawn - Hayek's screen-time in this movie is woefully short, but when 80% of it is spent on one of the hottest dances ever caught on film, well, it's hard to complain.

STEVE GUSTAFSON
HONORABLE MENTIONS

Alien Queen (Aliens) - Who said you have to be human to be sexy? Don't be such a xenophobiac and get with the times!

Betsy Palmer, (Friday the 13th) - This is for all you reader's with the mom fetish out there. It's not my thing, but who am I to judge? Go nuts.

Elsa Lanchester, (Bride of Frankenstein) - The hair. The scream. The scars...not so much. Still, Frankenstein saw something in her.

THE TOP 5

5. Lindy Booth, (Cry_Wolf) - Oh, Dodger. I don't know why, but you stood out in a forgettable movie. While not a technical horror film, it has enough of the conventions to slide in. The premise was...adequate. A local is murdered, a group of teenagers create an e-mail hoax of a serial killer named the Wolf. They describe each death method the Wolf uses, but when their lies begin to come true, that's when things get interesting. The cast was OK, but I thought Booth did a good job giving Dodger life. The only other thing that stood out is this was directed by Jeff Wadlow after he won one million dollars at the 2002 Chrysler Film Competition. Now you know.

4.Mila Kunis, (American Psycho 2) - What a follow up to one of my favorite movies. Mila played Rachael. Who is just like Patrick Bateman! If he was a female college student determined to be a teaching assistant. And in a horrible film. I'm not even going to get into it. But it's a good excuse to give a little shine to Kunis, who's starting to make little waves recently. If I ever get to interview her (And it's not THAT far fetched!), I'll be sure to ask her about this...movie.

3. Rebecca Gayheart (Urban Legend) - Cool premise. Murders around a college campus are connected to Urban Legends. The execution? Well, I liked Rebecca. The little twist at the end was cute. But this list isn't about quality! It's about hot little horror villainesses! And Gayheart can stand with the best of them!

2.Sheri Moon Zombie, (House of 1,000 Corpses and Devil's Rejects) - Whoa Baby! These films were wacked out but bat nuts crazy never looked so sexy as it was portrayed by Miss Zombie.

1. Monica Bellucci, Michaela Bercu, Florina Kendrick (Bram Stoker's Dracula) - Dracula's brides made a slumber party at Dracula's castle VERY tempting. You know what scene I'm talking about; when we are first introduced to the lovely trio. Those kittens made that scene purr! I think a lot of hate towards Keanu Reeves can be traced to that scene and his luck in being thrown in the middle of that menage a mmm mm mmmm!

SHAWN S. LEALOS
5. Sheri Moon Zombie, The Devil's Rejects: She is a little too skinny for my tastes but damn, look at this still from Werewolf Women of the SS from the Grindhouse double feature.

4. Alicia Silverstone, The Crush: Is this a horror movie? The first time I saw it, I left the movie scared to death of females for quite some time...

3. Alyssa Milano, Poison Ivy II: Drew Barrymore was very hot in the first Poison Ivy movie but Alyssa Milano was millions of boys wet dreams in the early nineties.

2. Rebecca Gayheart, Urban Legend: The movie is kind of crap (although the appearance of Michael Rosenbaum is aces) but ** SPOILER ** the killer was a smoking hot Rebecca Gayheart. I just don't find much to say in this Top 5, so here is another picture.

1. Natasha Henstridge, Species: I mean, come on. How freaking hot was it when she killed the guy in the swimming pool with her tongue mid-kiss? Ok, maybe that is kind of scary but damn she is smoking!

JEREMY THOMAS
HONORABLE MENTIONS

Tiffany (Jennifer Tilly), Bride of Chucky (1998) - Okay, I realize that for the majority of this film, Jennifer Tilly's character is a doll. And dolls are not hot. But in her human moments, she's Jennifer Tilly, and that's hot.

Brenda Bates (Rebecca Gayheart), Urban Legend (1998) - Rebecca Gayheart is not someone I would normally include on any hot list. It's just me, I don't think she's that fantastic. But here in Urban Legends, for some reason she came off as hot to me. Not so much her cameo in the sequel, but definitely here.

Asami Yamazaki (Eihi Shiina), Audition (1999) - An odd choice from some people's mindsets I bet, since Asami is a sadistic torturing psychopath. But that's what makes her a villain. What makes her hot is that...well, she's hot. And she did it all for love, after all, right?

THE TOP 5

5. Baby Firefly (Shari Moon Zombie) - The Devil's Rejects (2005) - I will admit that I am one of those people who thinks Shari Moon Zombie is hot period. Something about her just really appeals to me. I thought she looked damn good in House of 1000 Corpses, but when you took that character and transported it into the grittier, more real-world of The Devil's Rejects, she got really sexy. And I mean, white trash, pull-her-hair while you're saying bad things sexy. Or maybe she'd be pulling the hair and saying bad things. It's kind of hard to tell with her. Either way, I'd be a happy camper. She's attractive and scary all in one, and that makes her freaky-hot.

4. Evelyn Stockard-Price (Famke Janssen) - House on Haunted Hill (1999) - Some people may question this choice, as Evelyn isn't the primary villain of this movie. However, she is undoubtedly A villain. She plots with her lover to kill off her husband after all, and gets her just desserts in the end even as she calls out to said husband for help. Famke Janssen is a gloriously statuesque woman who has long been an object of my affections, and I thought there were few times she looked hotter than here. I'd risk that freaky house just to get with her. Hell, even if I die, it's still an eternity with her. Can't be that bad.

3. Sil (Natasha Henstridge) - Species (1995) - There's no denying it...Sil is freaking hot. Natasha Henstridge was at her peak here, and she was playing an alien succubus thingy who's just undeniably attractive. Maybe it's her confidence...maybe it's her poise. Hell, maybe it's the fact that her biological clock is ticking overtime and thus she has to mate. Okay, sure, she's going to murder you horribly, and quite possibly mid-French kiss, but Henstridge's work here made all sorts of guys wonder how bad that would really be. Sil has to be at the top of any hot horror villains list.

2. Laurie (Anna Paquin) - Trick 'r Treat (2009) - Okay, so I hate to reveal spoilers here, but I couldn't NOT include Anna Paquin on this list. She's always been hot since she was grown-up enough for me not to feel skeezy about it, but she's never--and I mean NEVER--been as hot as she was here as poor Laurie, trying to make her way to a party dressed as Little Red Riding Hood. Sure, her little group of friends are dressed sexier, but Paquin's amazingness shines through, all the way to the end of her story within the anthology film.

1. Santanico Pandemonium (Salma Hayek) From Dusk Till Dawn (1996) - Okay, really, is there ANY competition here? Satanico Pandemonium is easily the hottest of the hot. It's Selma Hayek at her most mouth-watering, doing a sexy striptease. With an albino boa constrictor. Does she turn into a nasty-headed, ugly vampire later in the film? Yeah, sure...maybe that loses points for some people. But in terms of horror, there are few scenes that are as amazingly hot as Hayek dancing her way along while that awesome song plays. She may not have the most screen time in the film but she makes the most out of every single second, and makes an unforgettable impression as a result. DAYUM.

I just want to take a moment here and give an extra special thanks to Steve Gustafson, who has participated in the last couple Top 5's despite being very under the weather. You're one of the good ones, Steve. Next week, the Top 5's tribute to Halloween concludes. Till then, be sure to bookmark 411 as your homepage, follow me on Twitter, and check out my blog at Night of the Living Trev. Have a great week.

I'd say that the hottest Horror Villain is hands down Rutger Hauer. AS someone who prefers people of the same sex, I'd say he's someone that I definetely wouldn't mind being attacked by!

The Harpies from Van Helsing...

Silvia Colloca as Verona, the black-haired and oldest bride of Dracula
Josie Maran as Marishka, the blonde and second oldest bride
Elena Anaya as Aleera, the red-haired and youngest bride

THANK YOU!!! Why does every gay person have to constantly let everyone else know how gay they are as if we want to know that business. I hate having a gay agenda shoved in my face every time I turn around. It's like having Jehovah's Witness people constantly coming to your house to "recruit", it's annoying. People might be more sympathetic to the "gay plight" if they didnt always have to have it pushed in their face. I dont want religion forced on me just like I dont want to hear about how gay someone is.

I like tequila, and i'd absolutely positively definitely sure as shit drink tequila off of Satanico Salma's toes!

That's really the only part of that movie that i remember. yeah it was a good flick but that part sticks out. That's how a hot chick's body should look forget all these skinny bitches.

That's whats up!!

since the article was top horror villians, not horror woman, then if its a guy he thinks is hot, so what?

either way...Rutger Hauer? really?

Catherine Deneuve in The Hunger
Nastassia Kinski in Cat People

Salma is awesome choice and would most likely be my number one. Hmm if someone is throwing Rutger Hauer out there you might want to throw Laurie Metcalf from Scream 2, she may be homely but at least she's a chick. Damn Zorro.

MMMMMMMMMM! I couldn't agree more! We need more voluptuous women in Hollywood! Or at all, really.

Someone mentioned they didn't like spoilers... and another one mentioned Rebecca Gayheart as a villain in Urban Legends. Isn't THAT a spoiler?

Then again, Bum Reviews has been going for over a year, and Doug JUST NOW started mentioning "Knock knock! Who's there? SPOILERS!" Which seriously would've annoyed the crap out of me if I hadn't just gone to SEE "Star Trek" the night his review came out.

I'm not gay, but i find it ironic that whenever AJ Grey posts a billion pics of celebrity hookers and their naughty bits, guys can talk about how they would bone the hell out of em, give em a good donkey punch and then spooge in their ear....but if someone that is gay mentions something about a guy? "oh my god, they are putting in my face! how dare they!" Notice your hypocrisy you douchebag....and gay AGENDA? are you shitting me?? Grow up Sean Hannity Jr!

The blonde chick from Lepracorn III I think. Although looking at imdb I'm pretty sure Zone Horror labelled them inaccurately.

Too right Erik. There's something wrong with most of the people this site attracts. It's like they have some type of social disorder, severe arrested emotional development or whatever but that would be giving the little knackers the credit of being over the age of 12. Bunch of immature, obnoxious, tight little virgins.

But what's worse are the geebags who are meant to be moderating their own site and screening that shit but they won't do a damn thing unless someone uses the C word. Oh you don't like that, fucking candyassess. You'ss all deserve a kick in the rectum.

"Someone mentioned they didn't like spoilers... and another one mentioned Rebecca Gayheart as a villain in Urban Legends. Isn't THAT a spoiler?"

I've always believed that there is a statute of limitations on spoilers. If a movie has been out for over a year - at least on DVD for that long - it is old news. It's like saying Bruce Willis is dead in Sixth Sense. You should know it by now.

Salma Hayek gave the best stripper dance ever put on screen - and she never took her top off.

That wins.

Check out the Movie Tamara starring Jenna Dewan as the killer. I actually can't believe nobody compared Jennifers body to this 2005 movie, its almost the exact same thing. And she should have made someone's Top 5 (hell she banged Timberlake and married GI JOE)

Mindy (or Melinda) Clarke from Return of the Living Dead III. Hottest zombie EV-ER.

Posted By: JMAC (Guest)  on October 24, 2009 at 07:41 AM

I can't believe no one mentioned either any of the Zombie Strippers (obviously before they got too decomposed) or the crazy gothic punk legend zombie that was Julie in Return of the Living Dead 3.
