Learn 5 things about the beautiful Emmanuelle Chriqui and Jennifer Love Hewitt is our "& 1" Model of the Week! All this and more inside!
BEFORE WE BEGIN...
Welcome back to another edition of the Hollywood 5 & 1! I'm Steve Gustafson, and this spot to be to get your fill of celebrity gossip. I read through all this stuff, so you don't have to. You'll be the life of the party!
How was your Thanksgiving? Mine was great! Not only am I still full, I'm moving on Monday so I'm writing this as I finish packing up! This week I have the pleasure of introducing Dash Seavers to the Hollywood 5 & 1! Dash is a reader and new friend from LA, who also happens to work in this little thing we like to call...The Biz! He's "in the field" right now, doing some reporting, but you'll be hearing more from him in the coming weeks! Welcome Dash!
Also, in the month of December I'll be doing a special look at the YEAR THAT WAS! The top celebrity stories of the year, Hot or not...all that jazz! It should be a fun way to wrap up 2009!
If you haven't read it already, this past Monday was my first official Big Screen Bulletin! Check it out here!
This reminds me. What are YOU thankful for this year?
WHO SAID WHAT? "Rob treats me like his little teacher and we have a fun sexual relationship that is simple and carefree. He brings out the total cougar in me and I just like to teach him things."
Lisa Ann, the adult film star who headlined the classic, Who's Nailin' Paylin? video, is currently dating none other than Rob Kardashian. Yeah, some things just can't be explained.
She's really used this role to stay in the spot life. Just like the real Palin!
CELEBRITY TWITTER-A-GO-GO!
Are you on Twitter? Why not? You get to read what REAL CELEB'S THINK! You can be a part of the story. Well, maybe not. But here's a tidbit of what you are missing:
It's a Twilight love-fest-palooza! Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, and Taylor Lautner have taken to Twitter to thank fans for the New Moon mania sweeping the country. As you know, the sequel took top box office honors last weekend, pulling in $140 million. Pattinson gave a shout out to fans on Twilight's Twitter page, writing, "Thank you for making NEW MOON #1, It's very exciting to be a part of something embraced by so many people." Pattinson added: "I hope you are looking forward to ECLIPSE as much as I am." Stewart then Tweeted, "You all have proven you're the most amazing fans in the world once again. I feel so lucky to be a part of The Twilight Saga and thank you for making us #1!" Stewart is still getting the hang of Twitter, she admitted. "Yes, I twittered," she wrote. "Or twitted ... tweeted? I dunno, but thank you sooo much anyway..!" Lautner tweeted, "Thanks for your incredible support of New Moon." There you go.
Ok, maybe it is that bad. Continuity!
This is the perfect time to remind you that you can follow me and 411mania on Twitter with a quick click!
5 THINGS ABOUT EMMANUELLE CHRIQUI YOU DIDN'T KNOW!
Let's get to know Emmanuelle Chriqui a little better, shall we?
1. Chriqui was born in Montreal, Quebec. 2. She began acting as a 10-year-old in a McDonald's commercial. 3. She began guest-starring in such series as Are You Afraid of the Dark?, Forever Knight, Once a Thief, and Psi Factor: Chronicles of the Paranormal. 4. Chriqui was nominated for a Best Actress DVD Exclusive Award for her performance in 100 Girls. 5. She threw out the ceremonial first pitch at a Los Angeles Dodgers game on June 8, 2008.
And now you know...
Just lovely.
You don't mind if I double dip and share another photo, do you?
VIDEO OF THE WEEK
From time to time a video catches my eye and I'll pass it on to you. It might not be new or even that funny. But I'll leave that up to you to decide. Today I present The Muppets and their version of...Bohemian Rhapsody! Enjoy!
Alright, let's get to the actual Hollywood 5 & 1. I go through 5 things out of Hollywood this past week that made me scratch my head plus our "& 1" Model of the Week! Let's go!
K-I-S-S-I-N-G! Adam Lambert! Everyone is up in arms about Lambert's performance at the American Music Awards on Sunday. "I'm not a babysitter, I'm a performer," Lambert told Ryan Seacrest (Hmm) in an interview on the Ryan's Web site, adding, "The spirit of rock and roll is alive and well." I guess no one told ABC, which apparently didn't approve of Lambert's stage show in which he French-kissed a band member and simulated certain sexual acts that will go unmentioned. The network has made it clear that Lambert won't be performing on its morning program after they cancelled an appearance on Good Morning America. The network says it doesn't feel he'd be appropriate for a morning audience. After the GMA cancellation, CBS swooped in and asked Lambert to perform on its Early Show on Wednesday instead. "I think the adrenaline kind of took me over," Lambert tells Seacrest. "I admit and I'm kind of proud of the fact that I did get a little carried away. I had a good time and I was merely interpreting the lyrics of my song. It wasn't meant to piss anyone off, it wasn't meant to hurt anyone or cause any problems." But the reaction, he says, is far out of proportion to the offense. "I don't feel like I owe anyone an apology," he says. "I did something female performers have been doing for years. All of a sudden a guy does it, and it's crazy. I do think there's a slight double standard." His fans seem to agree. On Twitter, the topic #shameonYouABC has been a hot topic since the GMA cancellation was announced, with many fans accusing the network of homophobia and discrimination. Though he doesn't hold any grudges against the network, Lambert says that at least people have more realistic expectations since his days on a reality-show competition. "I'm sexual person, and maybe people didn't see that on American Idol," he says. "But now...they do." Thoughts?
Bad?
Good?
Dancing With the...Osmond?
What a season. Dancing With the Stars, has come and gone and the winner is...DONNY OSMOND! While I admit I quickly lost interest once Chuck Liddell was voted off, I heard good things about the show. Donny was thrilled to be the oldest winner in the show's history, and was quick to give props to his dancing partner, Kym Johnson, saying, "You got to know the dynamics backstage amongst all the professionals to appreciate it, but everyone was rooting for [Kym]. It was her year." Johnson has been a staple of Dancing ever since season three, when she was paired with talk show icon Jerry Springer. Since then some of her partners have included former NFL star Warren Sapp and Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban. So what was the secret to Donny's success? He came onto the show with an extremely large fanbase. Also, thanks to a top-notch freestyle dance, he was able to recapture momentum leading up to the final moments of the show. No word on what Chuck thinks.
If you needed an excuse to catch next season...here you go!
Congrats to Kym on her big win!
(Worst) Father of the Year...Decade...You Pick!
Here's a heartwarming holiday story. If you're EVIL! Michael Lohan just keeps on digging his hole of shame in the field of fatherhood. TMZ did some digging of their own and found out he's over $15,000 behind in child support. According to legal documents, Michael has racked up $15,100 in unpaid child support to Dina for their three minor children: Aliana, Michael Jr. and Dakota Lohan. A point was brought up: If Michael profited off those audio tapes he released of Lindsay Lohan's lowest moments, he could actually pay off his child support with money he made from exploiting one of his children. Be thankful he's not related to you.
Daddy dearest.
Celebrity App Coming Soon to You!
Really? Who's surprised by this? As if celebrities haven't taken over every millimeter of our existence already, having your favorite celeb at your fingertips 24/7 is the wave of the future. Last week, Britney Spears joined the trend, launching her very own iPhone app, "It's Britney!" For $1.99, you can get messages, news, photos, and Twitter updates from Brit. Which is free on Twitter. And TMZ. Just saying. Other applications from celeb's include:
Push Shaq: For $1, you will receive an instant notification whenever Shaquille O'Neal updates his Twitter account. Again, free to follow him on Twitter, so I'm confused why you would buy this?
Hammer Time: Everyone ... it's Hammer Time! For 99 cents, you can keep tabs on MC Hammer.
The Chad Ochocinco Experience: For the football fans out there! You can purchase the Chad Ochocinco Experience for $2.99. You get whereabouts, stats, photos and sound bytes.
Coldplay "Strawberry Swing": Hey, this is free! You can make fun of it, but I guarantee some of you are getting this.
So, my question is: Is there any celebrity out there that you would pay to have an app from them? Paris Hilton? Pamela Anderson? George Clooney? Alf?
I would pay $1.99 for an app from her. Or Lee Majors.
Flying Swine Flu!
A Thanksgiving charity event went horribly wrong when celebrity chef Paula Deen was hit in the face with a flying ham. Deen was at an event for Hosea Feed The Hungry in Georgia where she delivered 25,000lbs of food. A worker helping to offload the hams accidentally hit her right in the nose with a toss. Paula shook it off and made light of the incident. Good thing she didn't "ham" it up for the camera, eh?
Alright, the video wasn't sexy, but someone last week brought up Nigella Lawson! Who am I to dissapoint?.
Welcome back to the & 1 Model of the Week! Where we search this thing called the internet to find a lovely lady to appreciate in all her beauty.
Week 13 of the & 1 Model of the Week brings us...Jennifer Love Hewitt! Actress,singer-songwriter, and film and television producer. There's a lot to love about Jennifer!

How about people leave Palin alone and she won't be discussed then...very hypocritical.

In hopes of another pic next week, Nigella Lawson!

While I'm not homophobic, I admit that seeing two chicks tongue it up is hot. Then again, I'm a straight guy who bangs the same woman every day. (Pfft.. once a week MAYBE). I'm just not feeling it when two dudes do it. I'd "open my mind" a little, but Palin said it'd "turn me gay".
Michael Lohan will continue to be the Douchebag Dad of the Decade. The guy has no moral compass.
Speaking of morals, I sure would love to spray some morality all over Jennifer Love Hewitt's bod. She's always been hot.. even though she should put back on some of the Party of Five pounds.

My whining for some Nigella Lawson worked! Score! She's hotter than a cooked ham flying towards Paula Deen sniffer!

With the Adam Lambert situation, someone argued to me that since Britney and Madonna were on MTV it's different. I say no difference. It's still the perception people have. They said they received 1500 complaints. I wonder if that legit?
I confess I wasn't really aware of Nigella Lawson until you mentioned her. She's cookin alright.
Maybe next week I'll have 5 & 1's Hottest female chefs!
