A WORD FROM STEVE...
Welcome back! Hope everyone had a nice holiday! I mentioned last week that Iwas speaking at Catalyst Con in March and the awesome folks there gave me a badge to share with you!
Not bad, huh?
Who's greeting us this week? None other than Katee Sackhoff! Adi Shankar's "all-female Expendables" project has been moving gradually closer to fruition, with Sackhoff one of the first names to sign on the dotted line for the forthcoming action fest.
Sackhoff has been talking about the film during a recent interview with Collider, and according to her, the completed lineup will be a sight to behold. "Well, I am attached to it, but things always happen. If a script got delivered and was absolutely horrible, then you figure things out. But, I can't imagine, with everyone that [producer] Adi Shankar is bringing around the project, that it's going to be bad...I really put a lot of faith in him and his eye for detail," she continues. "I'm a big fan of Gina [Carano], and there's a lot of strong women. When I sat down with Adi and he pitched the women that he wanted in the movie, these are not your 5 foot 2, skinny girls. These are the girls that can actually kick some ass, which made me excited...And they are different types of girls. I haven't seen the Expendables movies, but not every one of us has the same fighting style and we're all different body types. It's believable that we could all kick some ass. I'm really looking forward to it."
Anyone else excited?
So last week we had a battle between two of my favorite Victoria Secret Models...Teresa Lourenco and Jessica Gomes! Jessica came out on top with 319 votes to Teresa's 212. The in the second match Bianca Beauchamp went up against Jordan Carver. This time Bianca left no doubt, beating Jordan 519 to 272.
This week we keep it retro and pit Scarlett Johansson and Arianny Celeste against one another. Will the actress or the Octagon girl come out the victor?
Scarlett Johansson VS. Arianny Celeste
PIC OF THE WEEK! Helen Mirren got a bit hands-on at the premiere of Hitchcock at the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences Samuel Goldwyn Theater in Beverly Hills, Calif. As she greeted her co-star Jessica Biel on the red carpet, Dame Mirren copped a feel, checking out the newlywed's sexy sideboob in a black backless Gucci dress.
WHAT THE HELL?
The Ninja Turtles reboot may have come in for its fair share of flak with the involvement of Mr. Michael Bay and his planning to tinker with the origin story. However, franchise co-creator Peter Laird remains enthusiastic about the project, and claims that the script has been informed by films like The Avengers.
"From what I've seen of the script it's fantastic," he said. "We're talking about being inspired by movies like The Avengers for scope and roots origin and The Raid: Redemption for fight scenes and Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes as far as computer-quality style."
Meanwhile, original star Corey Feldman has also chipped in with his opinion, and claims that he may return to reprise his role as Donatello.
"Michael Bay and I have become social acquaintances," says Feldman. "We have traded cell phone numbers. We have been in communication. I have let him know that I support the project. He has let me know that he is a fan of my work.
"We are communicating," he continues. "I wouldn't say there has been a formal offer, or anything like that. It's not even really going to be Michael Bay's decision. It's going to be the director's decision."
Oh boy. Comments and thoughts below, please.

Here we go! 5 things in pop culture that have people talking!
A Very Lohan Thanksgiving!
Not all was well at the Lohan house this Thanksgiving. Lindsay Lohan hit headlines last week when it was revealed that paternity tests proved her father Michael is also a father to a 17-year-old Montana girl named Ashley Kauffman. But it seems the news of a long-lost sister has the actress feeling indifferent.
"Lindsay isn't upset, she doesn't care, and seems to have no desire to meet Ashley," a source told FOX411's Pop Tarts column. When asked about her new-found sibling, the actress, who stars in the upcoming Lifetime film Liz & Dick, told Good Morning America that she did not have prior knowledge that she had a half sister.
However, the family insider told us that Lindsay did know for at least the last few months. And while the actress isn't too fussed about the issue either way, it has apparently had quite the profound impact Dina Lohan, who is still struggling with the news.
Kauffman was reportedly conceived during a relationship with Kristi Horn Kauffman while Michael was still married to Dina in the 90s, and was born between their daughter Ali, now 18, and son Cody, now 16.
A rep for Lohan declined to comment. Her father Michael did not respond to a request for comment either. However, last week Mr. Lohan told reporters that he is "one hundred percent happy" with the paternity results, adding that "we're all okay with it and will deal with it in the best way we can." Initially he denied speculation that he had another daughter, and refused to provide child support.
I wonder what they talk about when they sit around the table?
She's a poster child alright!
Kim Kardashian: Promoter of Peace!
Socialite Kim Kardashian announced plans for an upcoming visit to Bahrain. Just days after a controversy erupted on Twitter following things she tweeted about the conflict in Gaza, Kardashian has announced a trip to Bahrain as an opportunity to "set the record straight" and, as a source close to her said, to "raise awareness about important issues in the area," including the political situation.
Her Gaza tweets, which were later deleted, were initially viewed as pro-Israeli, and then were attacked for mentioning Palestinians. The Twitter tension got so out of hand that she took to her personal blog to clarify that she will "pray for all ů the countless innocent people" in this conflict "and similar crossfires."
Her new statement about "setting the record straight," coupled with comments made by the source close to her, have got some Bahrainis wondering what exactly she will be doing in Bahrain to "raise awareness" of "important issues."
One of the organizers of the trip, Indian American Paresh Shah, confirms that Kardashian is set to meet with local leaders in Bahrain, including "royalty and top entrepreneurs".
Kardashian is primarily in town to promote Shah's ice cream venture, Millions of Milkshakes, a company he cofounded with his partner Sheeraz Hasan, "a Pakistani via Nairobi" who hired Kardashian to promote a branch opening in Dubai last year. But according to Shah, Kardashian will be the guest of honor at a "VVIP grand opening dinner" where royalty will be in attendance and her accommodations while in the country are being paid for by a "high ranking royal."
It must be nice.
I wonder what Kim's going to say? Any guesses?
Will she make things better or worse?
No Bond for Spielberg!
Steven Spielberg is considered to be one of, if not, the best filmmaker of his generation, yet it seems there was one that got away.
During the press tour for his latest film, Lincoln, Spielberg admitted he had been snubbed for Bond back in the '70s. "I went to Cubby Broccoli and I asked if I could do one and he said: 'No'."
When pressed further, he added: "I've never asked again. Instead, I made the Indiana Jones series."
Last year during an Entertainment Weekly Q & A for Super 8 Spielberg explained further why he would not direct the super spy. "When I started out as a TV director, my pie-in-the-sky dream was to make a little movie that would get some notoriety, and then [the late Bond series producer] Cubby Broccoli would call me and ask me to direct the next James Bond picture," he said. "But I could never get Cubby Broccoli to hire me - and now, sadly, they can't afford me."
However, Spielberg still remains a fan of the franchise and admitted Sam Mendes had done a great job with the latest 007 adventure, Skyfall. "I've seen it once and I'll see it a second time," he said.
I can only imagine a Spielberg directed Bond!
Did you really want a picture of James Bond or Spielber? I think Leola Bell is a much better option!
Hugh Superhero! Amanda Seyfried has had the chance to work with some amazing actors over the past few years, including Gary Oldman, Bill Paxton, Meryl Streep, Russell Crowe,Vanessa Redgrave.
But none have influenced her more than her Les Miserables co-star Hugh Jackman, whom she considers "superhuman."
The actress gushed about the actor in a Vanity Fair web exclusive, revealing how they made their Cosette, Jean Valjean on-screen relationship extra-special. "There is nothing bad to say about Hugh. He isn't human," Seyfried told VanityFair.com. "I bet you anything he's got some kind of superhuman capabilities, beyond just being just the kindest, gentlest soul I've come across."
In order to delve deeper into their Les Mis characters, Seyfried says she and Jackman created an alternate storyline, in which Cosette and Jean Valjean connect on a romantic level. "We sexualized everything as much as we could," Amanda revealed. "It was really funny, the moments we could find ... It's like every movie has another version, another satirical version of itself."
She then talked about English guys. "A lot of English guys have a metabolism like you," she insisted to her interviewer. "Dominic, for instance," referring to her ex-boyfriend, actor Dominic Cooper. "Eight-pack. Doesn't do anything."
Anyone else hate Dominic?
What's the VIDEO BUZZ?
With the upcoming DVD/Blu-ray release of The Dark Knight Rises, another featurette has appeared online showing the transformation of Tom Hardy into the film's villain, Bane.
Stunt coordinator Tom Struthers talk through the difficulties of changing Hardy from his previous role's thinner physique to the much bulkier Bane, as he added 30 to 35 pounds to his frame.
