A WORD FROM STEVE...
Welcome back! How was your week? Have you taken a second to vote for Leola Bell? As you may or may not have heard, voting for Playmate of the Year has started. Leola has been a friend of mine and a friend to 411mania.com and she gets endorsement. Click on the LINK and vote daily! If you want to check out my interview with Miss February 2012, Leola Bell, be my guest! Thanks!
I caught up with the lovely Heidi Bivens! Heidi is one of the best costume designers in Hollywood and we talked about her latest movie, Spring Breakers!
I just interviewed Playboy's Miss April Jaslyn Ome! A really beautiful Playmate who talks about how her life has changed, her love of sharks, and what catches her interest on TV! Take a peek at her:
411mania.com's newest Movie/TV column arrives this Wednesday, April 3rd. I'll be talking 100% comic books! Even if you're not reading them now, tune in! I think you're going to have fun! Write it down and set your alarm for...
I didn't have a place for this but I had to show this picture! How awesome is this? Kimberly Kane as Wonder Woman in the Wonder Woman XXX parody looks...pretty damn impressive! Axel Braun is on fire with his super-hero offerings! Why is it so hard for mega movie studios to get Wonder Woman right?
Did you know that Norm MacDonald launched a new video talk show? Check it out because his first guest is...well, I'll let you see for yourself!
Alright, who's greeting us this week? It's none other than...Andrea Leilani! Andrea is originally from St. Paul, Minnesota and now lives in Los Angeles as a full time stylist. She is 100% Cuban and doing modeling part time. "Its actually really hard being a stylist, it's all about networking and getting your name out there," explained Miss Leilani. "Right after college I left Vegas and came to LA to intern as a stylist." She has shot for Playboy online twice and did one special edition with them. Make sure to follow Andrea on Twitter and Instagram @AndreaXLeilani!
It was a good ole battle of the Hollywood train wrecks! In one corner we had the eternal bad girl, Lindsay Lohan and in the other, the up-and-comer,Amanda Bynes. The results weren't surprising:
Lindsay Lohan 37.57%
Amanda Bynes 62.43%
What's surprising is the comments about Bynes. She's found herself in the spotlight lately but not in the good sense. While sources close to her say she's relishing the attention, one can only scrape the bottom so long before they become a joke. While Lohan has hung around, Bynes doesn't have the same flair to her...madness. A quick word on Lindsay: According to TMZ's sources, Lohan not only walked away with bracelets from the set of Anger Management, but she also allegedly took pants, shoes, a necklace and some earrings. She told people on the show the value of the items can be subtracted from her salary, but TMZ stresses no such deal was ever made. Oh, Lindsay...
Enough about them. Let's cleanse our senses with two ladies. Zooey Deschanel seems to be the girl everyone loves. She carries this cool indie cred vibe and picks some cool projects to be involved in. On the other side we have Kristen Stewart. The female face of Twilight has gotten her share of bad press but her fans didn't care and she remains one popular lady. I figured we get enough bikini and skimpy clothing offerings so why not two actresses not known for having a vixen reputation!
Zooey Deschanel VS Kristen Stewart
PIC OF THE WEEK!
Let's keep this one simple this week. Here is Vida Guerra. You all know Vida. You know what she's famous for. If you don't follower her on Twitter, you're missing out. Here's a taste of what you're missing.
WHAT THE HELL?
I had two items I was debating about putting here and I decided to go with...BOTH! First, director Jon Chu recently spoke about the tone of the He-Man reboot. Here is what he had to say:
Where Are They in the Film's Process?: "We're still in the beginning stages, designing a ton, and this is sort of the most fun phase because we get to do a bunch of different designs of the world and the costumes and make a lot of mistakes, as much as we can so we know where we shouldn't go and where we should be headed in terms of the tone and the look of the movie."
On The Tone of the Film: "We're going for slightly more serious. And I wouldn't say ‘serious' as a dark tone, you don't necessarily want He-Man to be [dark], but it's not campy. We're not going campy. It's sort of an origin story of how He-Man came to be, and to me that gives you a lot of opportunity to create real culture in this world. What is Eternia really like, what are the cultures, what are the languages they're speaking, what are Snake Men, what are Beast Men, what are all these things, and how do they exist in this world? So we're taking a real look at creating life on this planet, on this world, that hopefully will translate. And again, we're in a very early designing phase of it, the script is great, but we're still very early at figuring out exactly how theatrical we go, and how real we go, and how dark we can take it."
Thoughts on He-Man?
NEXT! With Lara Croft receiving a new lease of life thanks to the resurrection of the videogame franchise, MGM are looking to do the same for her big screen career by backing a new Tomb Raider movie.
The rebooted Tomb Raider game is currently receiving positive reviews and selling huge numbers and it has convinced the studio that a movie version is worth another go. Game developer Crystal Dynamics had already been working with GK films on a new movie project, and now Heat Vision is reporting that MGM is partnering with the smaller studio to get things up and running.
Development is being headed up by GK founder Graham King, with no director in place at this stage. No word as yet on casting yet but don't expect Angelina Jolie to return to the role.
This just begs the question: Who do you want to see take over the Tomb Raider franchise?

MAN OF STEEL SPOILERS!
This little bit of news has caused quite a stir on the interweb but not in the way you might think. Details around Man of Steel has been pretty tight. So much so that during Comic-Con last summer, director Zack Snyder wouldn't admit Michael Shannon was playing General Zod in the film. I say this because it's doubtful either Snyder or producer Christopher Nolan will ever confirm or deny this massive bit of speculation from geek site Ain't It Cool News.
WARNING: Potential Man of Steel SPOLIERS
According to Ain't It Cool, famed Superman nemesis Lex Luthor will appear in Man of Steel, though perhaps in the same way that Norman Osborn appeared in The Amazing Spider-Man: with teasing "logos" and imagery. Per Ain't It Cool, Canadian actor Mackenzie Gray is playing Luthor, casting made more intriguing because Gray played a Lex Luthor clone during an episode of Smallville. Gray isn't listed on the Man of Steel IMDb page, however a video interview with the actor does confirm his involvement in the film.
All of this, of course, should be taken with a large grain of salt. It should also be noted that Man of Steel screenwriter David S. Goyer was asked recently by I Am Rogue about his decision to leave Luthor out of the film, and gave this cryptic answer: "I don't think anyone has every confirmed that we haven't included him."
Reading that, is this a spoiler? Did anyone believe they were going to have a Superman movie without Lex Luthor?
Still love this trailer.
Let's take a look at the new poster for director James Mangold'sThe Wolverine!
Oh. That's it?
Is it me or does this look like it was done in a high school "Graphics For Starters" class?
The movie will be arriving in theaters on July 26 and stars Hugh Jackman, Will Yun Lee, Svetlana Khodchenkova, Hiroyuki Sanada, Hal Yamanouchi, Tao Okamoto, Rila Fukushima, and Brian Tee.
Based on the celebrated comic book arc, this epic action-adventure takes Wolverine (Jackman), the most iconic character of the X-Men universe, to modern day Japan. Out of his depth in an unknown world, he will face a host of unexpected and deadly opponents in a life-or-death battle that will leave him forever changed. Vulnerable for the first time and pushed to his physical and emotional limits, he confronts not only lethal samurai steel but also his inner struggle against his own immortality.
I'm not the only one, right?
Where is the line between celebrity, artist, and attention seeker lie? Kanye West has been classified as all three, among other things and he is rumored to have a CD coming called I Am God. Oh, wait. It's a song title off his new CD. It proves a point that he knows how to push the buttons to get the attention he craves.
Moving on, Naughty But Nice Rob reports that Kim Kardashian and Kanye are set to name their new baby...Khrist.
Is that better or worse than that last rumored name, North. A source said: "Kanye likes the name Khrist. I know it is shocking, but let's remember this is a guy that is naming his new CD ‘I Am A God.' So it makes perfect sense that the child of a god would be named Christ with a K."
The fact that the source used the CD title as proof makes this highly suspect. Still, the "source" said Kim believes it would be "cute" to carry on the "K" tradition of names.
Another source added: "This is a huge decision but it is Kayne who is taking the lead. He thinks a name is far more important than Kim does. Yes, Kim wants the perfect name that is unusual and fun but she thinks it's just a name. Where Kayne sees a name as a much more than a name, he sees it as a brand."
Kayne thinking of "brand" wouldn't surprise me but...Khrist? The kid's like is going to be hard enough. Why make it even harder?
Check out Kim talking to Jay Leno:
I didn't feel like a Kim Kardashian picture so I went with Destiny Dixon instead.
What big shoes she has tofill! Transformers 4 has cast its female lead, with The Last Airbender star Nicola Peltz signing on to play Mark Wahlberg's teenage daughter.
Michael Bay took to his blog to confirm the news, while also revealing that Megan Fox will not be making a cameo appearance in the forthcoming sequel. Peltz will be paired up to male lead Jack Reynor, although plot details remain scarce at present.
Last week I reported that the Michigan Film Office posted a synopsis claiming that scientific tinkering with the wreckage of ruined Transformers creates a new technological threat, one that threatens humanity all over again. However, Paramount has since labelled the synopsis as misinformation, putting us back at square one in terms of guessing where the series will go next. All that's known is that the film will not be a reboot, and will follow on from the existing universe created by the earlier episodes.
Nicola is 18 but I couldn't find pics that I was SURE she was 18. Here's Rosie Huntington-Whiteley!
What's the VIDEO BUZZ?
Let's continue with some Michael Bay stuff! Here is a redband trailer for Bay's Pain & Gain. The film stars Mark Wahlberg, Dwayne Johnson, Anthony Mackie, Ed Harris, Rob Corddry, Tony Shalhoub, Bar Paly, Rebel Wilson, Ken Jeong, and Yolanthe Cabau and is based on a true story.
The film hits theaters on April 26th. This might be the first Bay flick I've wanted to see in a long, long time. If you get a chance, read the TRUE story about what the movie is based on. Even crazier than what the movie portrays!
What do you think?
