A WORD FROM STEVE...
Welcome back! How was your week? We're back for another week of hot women, the biggest Hollywood news, and some celebrity gossip! For some additional reading you can check out my Comics 411 or my Big Screen Bulletin!
I've been thinking about tweaking the 5 & 1 again. Change the format, add some stuff, drop some things. Let me know what you think in the comments.
Alright, who's greeting us this week? It's none other than...Anastasia Ashley'! Man, if this is how female pro surfers look, I need to start watching more often! And just another reason to thank Instagram!
Last week two newcomers filled VS. We had Helen Flanagan take on Michelle Keegan. Here's how it went:
Helen Flanagan 57.83%
Michelle Keegan 42.17%
I have to say I'm surprised. Usually when I put two new ladies in VS, the voting tends to be light. You all came out in force! And it was fairly competitive. Nice! And congrats to Helen for pulling off the win! This week I reach over into the MMA section and grab two hotties. Blame it on the PPV last week. First up is Ronda Rousey, who is seen on this season of The Ultimate Fighter. She'll be matched up against Arianny Celeste-Penelope Lopez Marquez or, as most of you know her as...Arianny Celeste. When it comes down to it, who's the reigning beauty queen of UFC?
Ronda Rousey VS Arianny Celeste
PIC OF THE WEEK! Katy Perry has tongues wagging due to her appearance on the cover of Billboard. The article, "Katy Perry Sees the Light," apparently crowns her a "pop queen" and hits shelves next week. All of this makes sense, as Perry was named the magazine's Woman of the Year.

WHAT THE HELL?
George makes a good point. George Clooney spoke about his time playing Batman. You all remember that, right? "Batman is still the biggest break I ever had and it completely changed my career, even if it was weak and I was weak in it," Clooney told Total Film in a 2011 interview. "It was a difficult film to be good in. I don't know what I could have done differently."
So what does Clooney offer Ben Affleck, Clooney's producer partner on the Best Picture-winning Argo, when it comes to advice about taking the Batman role in Man of Steel 2?
"I am the least qualified person to comment on anyone playing the role of Batman since I so terribly destroyed the part," Clooney said to Empire magazine.
Despite that, Clooney did provide some comment to those Batman fans who were so enraged by Affleck's casting in the first place. "I tend to look at it like this -- let's just see what the movie is before everyone starts beating him up," he said. "He is a smart man, he knows what he is doing."
Wise words from Affleck's brother of the cowl.

Age of Ultron!
One of the biggest reveals at this year's Comic-Con was the confirmation that Ultron would be the villain going up against Iron Man, Thor, Captain American, and friends in the sequel to The Avengers. The announcement was made via a minute-long teaser video, pulling a series of key dialogue snippets from the first film before revealing the new title, Avengers: Age Of Ultron. Up until now, that teaser video has not been made public, but a shiny HD version is now available online. There was some faux conflict from the studio but that was an obvious marketing ploy to keep the Marvel name in the buzz.
I wonder who the next Darth will be called?
Transformers! Michael Bay has revealed a new on-set image from Transformers: Age Of Extinction, capturing the director where he feels most comfortable directing a massive action sequence. The new image shows Bay operating his camera in the midst of what appears to be an absolute warzone, with devastation raining down from all sides. Bay has already been quick to talk up the action in the new film, referring to a "chase from hell" that promises to up the auto-based carnage to even more chaotic levels than before. As for plot details, everything remains hazy at present, although producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura hinted a fun new possibility for the franchise.
Will this be the best one yet?
HBO provided 411mania with the following two new clips from the season premiere of Eastbound & Down. The new season kicks off on September 29th at 10 PM ET/PT on HBO.
The third season of the series saw Kenny Powers finally make it back to the majors and recaptured hi former glory, only to fake his own death and run back home to his beloved April, the mother of his child. The upcoming fourth season picks up the action several years later and finds Kenny living the American Dream with his family in North Carolina.
Are you ready for more Powers?
What a mess! Kanye West ripped into Jimmy Kimmel over a sketch the latter commissioned in which a child reads quotes from West's interview with BBC Radio 1's Zane Lowe. West was enraged, going after Kimmel for mocking him by saying the comic was "out of line to try and spoof the first piece of honest media in years" and telling Kimmel that he doesn't "take it as a joke." "You don't have scumbags hopping over fences trying to take pictures of your daughter," West claimed before devolving into pure rage and accusing Kimmel of leading a sexless life and having an artless face.
By the time this hits I'm sure the "feud" will either be more heated or we'll have moved on. While at the center of all this, Kanye has a point, that point is lost in the way he conveys his feelings. For so long he's created a character out of himself, it's hard for the public to take him serious. Kimmel is a comedian and talk show host. His job is to spoof and make jokes. The majority of times, those jokes are at the expense of celebrity figures. Like Kanye.
Your thoughts on all this?

What's the VIDEO BUZZ?
Warner Bros Pictures has released a new TV spot for Alfonso Cuaron'sGravity, which will be released in 3D, 2D and IMAX 3D on October 4. Here's a synopsis: In the film, Dr. Ryan Stone (Sandra Bullock) is a brilliant medical engineer on her first shuttle mission, with veteran astronaut Matt Kowalsky (George Clooney) in command of his last flight before retiring. But on a seemingly routine spacewalk, disaster strikes. The shuttle is destroyed, leaving Stone and Kowalsky completely alone--tethered to nothing but each other and spiraling out into the blackness. The deafening silence tells them they have lost any link to Earth...and any chance for rescue. As fear turns to panic, every gulp of air eats away at what little oxygen is left. But the only way home may be to go further out into the terrifying expanse of space.

Welcome back to the & 1 Model of the Week! I'm going to use this area to introduce a lovely young lady that you might not be familiar with. This week our & 1 Model is ...Scarlett Johansson! In honor of Don Jon coming out, I figured we'd have her in this spot. Joseph Gordon Levitt is a wise man to cast her. A wise man.
Ladies and Gentlemen, I present...Scarlett Johansson!
Before I say GOODBYE!
