The Hollywood 5 & 1: 2.01.14: Denver Broncos vs. Seattle Seahawks Edition!
Posted by Steve Gustafson on 02.01.2014

Welcome back! How was your week? We're back for another week of hot women, the biggest Hollywood news, and some celebrity gossip! For some additional reading you can check out my Comics 411. Or you can check out my Big Screen Bulletin for more movie related news and thoughts! Last week I interviewed Playboy's Miss November, Gemma Lee Farrell!

It's true...

Last week I reached my limit on Shia LaBeouf's bull and put it up to YOU, the reader, to ban him from these pages. The results:

BAN! Never again in the pages of the Hollywood 5 & 1! 83.16%
NO BAN! He's an artist! Let this play out! 16.84%

So long Shia! For those curious, I'll still be ripping into him on Twitter.

As for the only other person banned from these pages. He was on a reality show and married to Heidi Montag

Also, a model once had her manager contact the site and ask that we don't use her image anymore. I can't say who it is but she's not doing ANYTHING now and would probably be happy for a mention now. I wouldn't give her the satisfaction.

OK, who's greeting us this week? None other than Nadia Capri! Nadia is a new friend of mine on Twitter. You might know her from her work in the adult film industry or you might be thinking, "Man, she looks like a really hot Anne Hathaway." No matter, follow Nadia on Twitter: @NadiaCapriXXX!

Last week Aubrey O'Day and Robyn Lawley went at it. The results:

Aubrey O'Day 52.14%
Robyn Lawley 47.86%

Whoa! A close one last week and I'm a little surprised. I thought Aubrey's personality would hold her back but she held on to win over Robyn. It's Super Bowl weekend so everyone is thinking about the big game. I decided to have a little fun and match up a cheerleader from each team. I selected each at random so enjoy Candice (Broncos) and Ashley (Seahawks). Go team!

Candice (Broncos) VS Ashley (Seahawks)

Lauren Schuler Donner has been involved with the X-Men franchise for quite a while, and her stewardship as a producer extends to the upcoming Days of Future Past as well as X-Men: Apocalypse and X-Force. She isn't stopping there though, and she has spoken with Empire Online about a potential Gambit film...with Channing Tatum.

"I'm dying to do a Gambit movie with Channing Tatum," Donner said. "That doesn't have to be a great big movie. It's a thief in New Orleans, it's a whole different story. He's on board, and I have to get the studio on board. How can anyone resist Channing? He's such a sweetheart."

Tatum, for his part, is a fan of the character according to Fandango and was set to play old Remy Etienne LeBeau in X-Men: The Last Stand before his character was cut. He said while doing press for last year's White House Down, "I would like to play Gambit. Gambit's my favorite. I'm from New Orleans, around that area. My dad's from New Orleans, and I like to do a Cajun accent. I could do it for real."

Does that work for you?

Warner Bros. Pictures has cast Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor and Jeremy Irons will play Alfred in the upcoming Superman/Batman film.

I'll let that sink in.

Yes, the internet exploded, per usual. The castings come two weeks after Warner pushed production on the untitled Superman-Batman movie to the second quarter of this year and set a release date of May 6, 2016, departing from a July, 2015 slot. The film is in pre-production with Henry Cavill as Superman and Ben Affleck as Batman and Zack Snyder directing.

Batman-Superman will also reunite Man of Steel stars Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne and Diane Lane, and also stars Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman/Diana Prince.

The screenplay will be written by David S. Goyer, from a story co-created by Goyer and Snyder.

What are your thoughts on this latest development?

Taken. Again.
Deadline is reporting that Forest Whitaker is in talks to join the third installment of Liam Neeson's Taken series. Olivier Megaton, who directed the second film, will be back in the director's chair for this one, and Neeson is set to return as well. You might remember that Liam was wary about returning for the second one, but a $15 payday swayed him. This time, the rumored paycheck for Neeson is said to be $20 million.

Still love this trailer.

What's Next for Jerry?
A Seinfeld reunion will happen "very, very soon," according to Jerry Seinfeld. Rumors sprung up last week when Seinfeld, Jason Alexander, and Larry David were spotted at Tom's Restaurant on the Upper West Side. The diner's facade was an iconic part of Seinfeld, and the Internet freaked out accordingly. Some thought they were prepping for an episode of Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee (Which I LOVE, by the way), but Seinfeld denied that theory on the Boomer & Carton radio show on WFAN on Thursday morning (Jan. 30). Instead, he promised a Seinfeld reunion.

Earlier this month, Seinfeld hinted at a "secret project" during his Reddit AMA and on the same radio show, he said that Alexander would reprise his role as George Costanza and other Seinfeld characters would be involved. He also described the project as being "short-ish" -- but longer than 60 seconds -- and a "one-and-done" thing involving Larry David.

What do you think about more Seinfeld?

Oh, Lindsay!
TMZ reports that Lindsay Lohan is claiming that half of her $75K fur coat went missing at a New York nightclub. This is reportedly the same club where he walked out with someone else's expensive coat six years earlier. Lohan was at the 10ak on Wednesday night, and she arrived with a $75,000 two-piece fur coat. She claims she walked out with only one of the two pieces on. When she realized she left the other half at the club, she went back, but the other piece was gone.

Sources say that Lohan is claiming that the only person at her table she wasn't able to contact is a Seattle Seahawks player, who she says was at her table.

Hmm, believe or not to believe...

Lindsay, Lindsay, Lindsay.

What's the VIDEO BUZZ?
Sony Pictures has released part 1 of the Super Bowl spot for The Amazing Spider-Man 2. In the new movie, Spider-Man must faces new dangerous foes such as Electro and The Rhino. The sequel opens in theaters on May 2.

What do you think?
