WHAT THE HELL?
TMZ reports that NBC has an ultimatum for celebrities: if you appear on a talk show for CBS or ABC, you won't get to appear on The Tonight Show. NBC believes that Jimmy Fallon's success in the rating gives them leverage in negotiating with celebrities, agents and publicists. This not only applies to the shows that go head-to-head with Fallon, but also morning shows. They are only allowed to appear on shows that NBC airs like Today or Dateline.
A source from Good Morning America says they've had fallout from those they were trying to book. Fallon is currently bringing in twice the viewers as Jimmy Kimmel and is #1 in late night talk ratings.
Sounds dick-ish to me. But we ARE talking about NBC.
My thoughts on Fallon: I like him. He's a good, solid dude and understands how to use social media to spread his brand. The people I hear complaining about him are usually bitter, older folk who just like to complain. If you actually watch his show, you'll see he entertains and has fun with it.

Here is four minutes of footage from Captain America: The Winter Soldier. The film opens on April 4th and stars Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Samuel L. Jackson, Robert Redford, Sebastian Stan, Anthony Mackie, Cobie Smulders, Frank Grillo, Georges St-Pierre, Hayley Atwell, Toby Jones, Emily VanCamp and Maximiliano Hernández.
Captain America: The Winter Soldier will pick-up where Marvel's The Avengers left off, as Steve Rogers struggles to embrace his role in the modern world and teams up with Natasha Romanoff, aka Black Widow, to battle a powerful yet shadowy enemy in present-day Washington, D.C.
A clip has appeared online of Andre "3000" Benjamin in the Jimi Hendrix biopic All Is By My Side before the film screens at SXSW. It shows Hendrix (Benjamin) flirting with Linda Keith (Imogen Poots), the girlfriend of Keith Richards. She inspired songs by both men. They are talking about going to Monterey while Hendrix seems impressed with the lineup.
The film was written and directed by John Ridley and premiered at the Toronto Film Festival. Open Road will distribute when the film gets a US release date.
Will you be seeing this?
Flame On! Michael B. Jordan recently spoke about his casting as Johnny Storm aka The Human Torch in the reboot of The Fantastic Four.
On The Outcry Over His Casting: "It was expected. You kinda know going into it that people are used to seeing something one way, it's a continuity thing more than anything. People don't like change too much. But annoyed? Eh, you just kinda accept it, it is what it is. You can't make everybody happy. You just gotta accept that and know. I'm an actor, I have to do my job. I'm going to do my job the best I can and the way I've been doing it my entire life, my entire career. I grew up a comic book guy, I read comic books as a kid growing up, and the Fantastic Four/Human Torch is one of my favorite characters so I'm going to give it my everything. I can't wait. I don't really let it bother me at all. I just want to go into it and do the best job I can. We'll see what happens."
On Playing Johnny Storm aka The Human Torch: "The Human Torch is, 'yknow, that's fun. That's going to be a good time…To play a superhero? That's dreams coming true. It's not going to be hard. It's going to be fun to kind of show a side of me that I don't really get to show on screen, to be a little bit lighter, funnier, just more personality. It's going to be fun."
How will he do?
Oh, You Two! Katy Perry and Miley Cyrus are having a little fun with their recent kiss. The two pops stars smooched at one of Cyrus' concerts in February and afterwards Cyrus tweeted: "I just kissed a girl, and I really liked it a lot" -- referencing Perry's hit song.
No problem, right? Well, earlier this week Perry talked about the kiss on Australian morning show Sunrise. During the interview Perry suggested that Cyrus wanted more: "She has this one part where it's like a kiss cam, and I just walked up to her to give her like a friendly girly kiss, you know, as us girls do, and then she like, tried to move her head and go deeper and I pulled away." "God knows where that tongue has been. We don't know! That tongue is so infamous," Perry said before adding, "We're good friends."
Cyrus apparently heard Perry's comments and decided to respond on Twitter in what appears to be a reference to John Mayer, Perry's rumored ex-boyfriend: "Girl if ur worried abt where tongues have been good thing ur ex boo is ur EX BOO cause we ALL know where THAT...been."
But Perry kept things light, tweeting back to herl: "@MileyCyrus Oooo gurrrl I'm gonna give you the BIGGEST spanking when I see you in the UK bb!"
Katy, Katy, Katy.
What's the VIDEO BUZZ?
Here is a new clip from Need For Speed. The film opens on March 14th and stars Aaron Paul, Imogen Poots, Dominic Cooper, Ramon Rodriguez, Rami Malek, Harrison Gilbertson, Scott 'Kid Cudi' Mescudi, Michael Keaton and Dakota Johnson.
What do you think?
Dimension Films has released the first trailer for Sin City: A Dame To Kill For. The film stars Josh Brolin, Mickey Rourke, Jessica Alba, Rosario Dawson, Jaime King, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Dennis Haysbert, Jamie Chung, Bruce Willis, Eva Green, Julia Garner, Ray Liotta, Juno Temple, Jeremy Piven and Stacey Keach and opens on August 22nd.
The film, similar to Sin City, weaves together two of Miller's classic stories with new tales in which the town's most hard-boiled citizens cross paths with some of its more notorious inhabitants.
Welcome back to the & 1 Model of the Week! It's pretty obvious what this is. A couple pictures of a sexy gal for you to look at before clicking to the next article. This week our & 1 Model is ...Brandi Love!! Brandi, coming off her second consecutive year earning multiple nominations, will be speaking to undergrad and graduate students in the East Carolina University Department of Sociology later this month. Brandi will talk about the legitimacy of alternative relationships and her position that in many cases, traditional marriage simply doesn't work. "I have been speaking with students at ECU for years and applaud the Department of Sociology at East Carolina University for having me back in 2014 to discuss the relevancy of alternative relationships," Brandi said. "It shows respect for the position that loving relationships can exist outside the traditional confines we are often forced into. Coming on the heels of the alternative and beautiful mass marriage at this year's Grammy's, I am especially motivated to speak with the students."
Ladies and Gentlemen, I present...Brandi Love!
