The Hollywood 5 & 1 4.12.14: Peggy Lipton Vs Rashida Jones Edition
Posted by Steve Gustafson on 04.12.2014

Welcome back! How was your week? We're back for another week of hot women, the biggest Hollywood news, and some celebrity gossip! For some additional reading you can check out my Comics 411. This week we talked about the GREATEST FANTASTIC FOUR SUBSTITUTES!! Or you can check out my Big Screen Bulletin for more movie related news and thoughts! Click and read my interview with Playboy's Miss March Britt Linn!

Everyone is talking about Captain America: The Winter Solider and for good reason. It's a great movie. What makes Captain America XXX: An Axel Braun Parody rare is it's just as great a parody movie as its source material. Director Axel Braun and Vivid Entertainment have a super fun, super hot, and super geeky movie for fans of adult entertainment and superheroes. Marvel's Captain America gets the spoof treatment and he's bringing plenty of action for you!

I interviewed Braun at AVN years ago and I mentioned his passion for comic books. It was obvious. He wasn't paying lip service to the industry or trying to suck up to fans, he knows his comic history and tries to fill each of this superhero parody pieces with as many hidden gems as possible. He's received mainstream attention for his detail to costumes and character and in Captain America XXX: An Axel Braun Parody he wrote an original screenplay in which Cap fights for the Cosmic Cube against Baron Zemo, Sin, Crossbones and Batroc, with the help of Sharon Carter, Diamondback, Falcon and Quicksilver.

How is it? As awesome as it sounds. Braun is a master of his craft and this movie is a great example of why comic book fans enjoy his work. He gets it. Sexy with a geek twist. With no where near the big budget as the mainstream guys, he uses creativity to portray these characters in the spirit they were portrayed in the comic books. When he talked about the movie, his enthusiasm was obvious. "It's almost too much awesome in one movie," said Braun, who recently won his fourth consecutive AVN award for Director of the Year. "Call me nostalgic, but I like to see my superheroes in their classic costumes, especially if they've never been portrayed in a live-action movie…and in my adult spoof I was able to really go all out, so I'm one happy fanboy!"

How's the rest of the cast? Aaron Wilcoxxx plays Captain America and has fun with the role. Phoenix Marie reprises her Avengers XXX role as Sharon Carter, Claire Robbins is Sin, Kleio Valentien is Diamondback, Jessica Ryan is Hellcat, Britney Amber is a hot USO Girl, Ryan Driller is Baron Zemo, Tyler Knight is Falcon, Bill Bailey is Quicksilver, Derrick Pierce is Crossbones, and Giovanni Francesco is the mustached French villain Batroc.A truly packed cast with standout performances by...all of them. Really, they had fun with the parody and I got a kick out of the entire production.

Axel Braun continually sets the standard when it comes to his superhero parody films and this one easily stands tall as one of his best to date. Head over to vivid.com to buy your copy today! That is, IF you don't win one first! That's right, I'll be picking 5 names at random to give away a copy of Captain America XXX: An Axel Braun Parody! Email stevethegoose@gmail.com with "I want Captain America XXX: An Axel Braun Parody" and 5 lucky emails will be chosen at random! Void where prohibited. Participants in giveaway must be 18 years of age or over and must supply proof of age. Good luck!

OK, who's greeting us this week? None other than Amanda Bynes! She's back! Kind of. It's been a while since we've heard any crazy episodes from her but with her mom taking her of the meds...be on the lookout.

Last week Miranda Kerr took on Cameron Diaz. Here are the results:

Miranda Kerr 79.31%
Cameron Diaz 20.69%

Another one-sided spanking! While both of these ladies expressed interest in experimenting, Kerr came out on top by a large margin.

This week I wanted to try something new. Mom VS daughter. Hollywood has some gems out there and how about we start with actress Peggy Lipton. She was every boy's dream date in the 70s. She'll be taking on her daughter, Rashida Jones. Go ahead and Google if you need more pictures to look over.

Peggy Lipton VS Rashida Jones

Let's go with a video that someone sent to me on Facebook. So random but it appears to be of Italia Kash. She's a model. Google her. At first glance it would be easy to dismiss this video but as you watch it over and over you become mesmerized by it. Like a siren's song calling you towards the rocky shore....

This story sums up the term, "What the hell?" Valeria Lukyanova is best known as the girl who has transformed herself to look like a real-life Barbie doll. Seems GQ needed some space to fill and decided on her. Lukyanova proudly admited to being obsessed with all things Barbie and claims that "Everyone wants a slim figure. Everyone gets breasts done. Everyone fixes up their face if it's not ideal, you know? Everyone strives for the golden mean. It's global now."

She went on to admit that the only surgery she had was breast implants.

Valeria has her sights set on grabbing the world's attention and told the magazine that she cringes at the thought settling down with a family of her own in the future. "It's unacceptable to me," she explained. "The very idea of children brings out this deep revulsion in me…I'd rather die from torture because the worst thing in the world is to have a family lifestyle."

At least we don't have to worry about her ruining any future generations.

Lukyanova added, "I'm against feminism…what would you keep the children for? So they can get you a glass of water when you're on your deathbed?"

Her opinionated views didn't end there, unfortunately. Lukyanova went on to slam people of mixed races, calling them a "degeneration" of beauty. "For example, a Russian marries an Armenian, they have a kid, a cute girl, but she has her dad's nose. She goes and files it down a little, and it's all good. Ethnicities are mixing now, so there's degeneration, and it didn't used to be like that," she told the magazine. "Remember how many beautiful women there were in the 1950s and 1960s, without any surgery? And now, thanks to degeneration, we have this. I love this Nordic image of myself. I have white skin; I am a Nordic type—perhaps a little Eastern Baltic, but closer to Nordic."

Thanks GQ!

One more the the WTH files. When Karen Gillan shaved off her red hair to appear as Nebula in Guardians of the Galaxy, she apparently donated them to Episode VII. Seriously. From an interview she did with Collider, they asked her:

Was it just very liberating to shave your head, or did you have any moments of tears while they were doing it?

GILLAN: No, I was laughing hysterically. It really hit me when I woke up the next morning. That's when I was like, "Oh, my god, where's my hair?!" But also, everyone kept me in good spirit. Everyone was laughing and telling jokes. Marvel are the best company to work for, they really are. They treat you really well. They made my hair into the most incredible well-made wig and they gave it to the Star Wars people. It's just so funny to think that my hair is made into a wig, next to all these Star Wars monster heads in a warehouse. I thought that was really funny.

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, director Bryan Singer and producer/writer Simon Kinberg spoke about X-Men: Apocalypse, which will be released on May 27, 2016. The film is being developed with X2 writers Dan Harris and Michael Dougherty.

Singer said that the film will "somewhat" be based on the 1990 storyline Age of Apocalypse, which features an alternate universe in which the ancient villain Apocalypse has taken over the world. Singer said: "[The movie] won't necessarily create an alternate universe, but there may be some swapping things that I'm playing with."

Kinberg added: "From a visual standpoint it actually may be a bigger movie than Days of Future Past because there'll be disaster movie imagery, like the title would imply." When asked if Days of Future Past will set up the next movie, Singer replied: "You won't feel at the end of the movie that it set up Apocalypse. What it does is it sets up possibilities. But what we'll discover in Apocalypse is that events in this movie made that happen. Apocalypse deals with ancient mutancy. What would humans have thought mutants were? What would mutants think humans were? You're dealing with gods and things like that. And what if one survived and what if that found its way into our world?"

The film will star James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence and Nicholas Hoult from deals they signed for First Class. Singer also said he's interested in bringing in mutants like Gambit and Nightcrawler. He added: "I'm excited because I want to start introducing familiar characters at different ages and also explore the ‘80s."

Pretty cool, right?

Here is a new clip from Hercules. The film opens July 25th and stars Dwayne Johnson, Ian McShane, Rufus Sewell, Joseph Fiennes, Peter Mullan, John Hurt, Rebecca Ferguson, Ingrid Bolsø Berdal, Aksel Hennie, Reece Ritchie and Tobias Santelmann.

The film is based on the Radical Studios graphic novel "Hercules: The Thracian Wars." Everyone knows the legend of Hercules and his twelve labors. Our story begins after the labors, and after the legend… Haunted by a sin from his past, Hercules has become a mercenary. Along with five faithful companions, he travels ancient Greece selling his services for gold and using his legendary reputation to intimidate enemies. But when the benevolent ruler of Thrace and his daughter seek Hercules' help to defeat a savage and terrifying warlord, Hercules finds that in order for good to triumph and justice to prevail… he must again become the hero he once was… he must embrace his own myth… he must be Hercules.

Are you ready for Hercules?

Sinister Six!
During a recent interview with Den of Geek, it was revealed that they have a timeline for the Sinister Six and Venom films. Producer Matt Tolmach spoke about the future of the franchise saying, "Before we know what we do with Spider-Man 4. We're going to do Sinister Six, Venom and Spider-Man 3. There is going to be a lot of crossover in those movies. So we're just not at Spider-Man 4, because we still have a whole other Spider-Man movie and two other movies. So we don't know yet what [Spider-Man 4] is going to be."

Alex Kurtzman, Roberto Orci, and Ed Solomon will write the Venom movie, which Kurtzman will direct. Drew Goddard will write and direct the Sinister Six film.

Are these spin offs a good idea?

Oh, Jennifer!
Speaking to Collider, actress Jennifer Garner, wife of Ben Affleck, said that she is going to stop talking about Batman vs. Superman.

Garner said she got "in trouble" when she started talking about the new Batsuit being a "total reinvention" and that she was going to be in Detroit this summer when Affleck was filming there. This led to speculation that the movie was going to be shot in Detroit.

Garner said she won't talk about the film again in public, saying, "I have gotten in some trouble for my little quotes and I'm learning... I thought that I was saying things that were foregone conclusions and it turns out nothing is, and you won't be hearing from me on the Batman front."

I dig Garner.

What's the VIDEO BUZZ?
Sony has released a new red band (NSFW) trailer for 22 Jump Street. The film will be released on June 13. It was directed by Phil Lord and Chris Miller and stars Jonah Hill, Channing Tatum, Ice Cube, Dave Franco, Amber Stevens, Nick Offerman, Rob Riggle, Richard Grieco and Brad Pitt.

Here's a synopsis: Officers Schmidt (Hill) and Jenko (Tatum) go deep undercover at a local college to crack a crime ring within a fraternity. But when Jenko meets a kindred spirit on the football team and Schmidt infiltrates the bohemian art major scene, they begin to question their partnership. In addition to cracking the case, the two freshmen must figure out if they can have a mature relationship like real men.
