The 411 Douchebag of the Week: Scott Hall
Posted by Bryan Kristopowitz on 08.02.2014

Hello, everyone, and welcome to the first edition of The 411mania Douchebag of the Week. I'm Bryan Kristopowitz. I've been crowning a Douchebag of the Week in various columns during my tenure at 411's movie section, most recently in The Gratuitous B-Movie Column, which appears on Mondays. I've decided, and have been given permission to, expand this feature into its own weekly thing. So, for the foreseeable future, I will be naming a new Douchebag of the Week every Sunday.

And now, without any further ado, on to the first 411mania Douchebag of the Week.

Douchebag

This week, The 411mania Douchebag of the Week goes to WWE Hall of Famer Scott Hall, for refusing to sign a sick kid's birthday card. As reported by 411's own Jeremy Thomas via the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, while at an autograph signing in Phoenix, Arizona, Hall refused to sign a birthday card for a Danny Nickerson, a six-year old terminal cancer patient. Several other wrestlers at the convention signed the card (and some of them even did video bits for the kid) but Hall didn't. As the report says Hall refused.

Refused? What kind of fucking bullshit is that? Why would anyone refuse to sign a birthday card for a kid with terminal fucking cancer? Hall, at least as of me writing this, hasn't responded to the report or given his side of the story, but then does that really matter?

Nope. Not signing that kid's card is fucking messed up.

What the fuck, Scott Hall? What the fuck?

And now for this week's honorable mentions…

-The New York Times, for coming out in favor of marijuana legalization while still forcing its employees to take drug tests which test for, among other things, marijuana. What kind of bullshit is that?

-Lindsay Lohan for her recent gross selfie. Not even with a cadaver dick.

-Time Warner Cable, for not allowing me to participate in Fearnet's final day of broadcasting. The rat bastards shut the channel off the night before. That's goddamn low.

Thanks for reading. Agree? Disagree? Sign up with disqus and comment. You know you want to, so just go do it.

Oh, and B-movies rule, always remember that.
