Opening Segment - Introduction
Hello, and welcome to another edition of the TV News Wrap. The beginning of the new television season finally got under way Sunday night with the premiere of FOX's "Animation Domination" lineup. I was definitely pumped for the return of "Family Guy" because they were spoofing "Star Wars." It was great, but I was hoping for a bigger emphasis on the whole Darth Stewie/Chris Skywalker father angle. Oh, well. Anyway, we have some news to get to this week and we will kick things off with our top story…

Rozilla Strikes Again
It seems Rosie O'Donnell is about to release an autobiography where she recalls her childhood and most importantly her time as the moderator on "The View". My favorite part of the book is how she trashes Barbara Walters. In the book she describes Walters as being a bit too old and implies that Walters was jealous of all the love the fans gave Rosie during her tenure on the show. Of course, O'Donnell goes on to take a few swipes at the great Donald Trump. I haven't come across any more details, but I can definitely tell all of you that I can't wait to buy Rosie's book, "Celebrity Detox", when it is released.
Random TV News
"Hanna Montana" pregnant?
"Hanna Montana" star Miley Cyrus was rumored by a website called J-14 to be pregnant. This was such an odd rumor because Cyrus, daughter of country music star Billy Ray Cyrus, is only 14 years old. However, reports later surfaced that the J-14 never reported that Cyrus was pregnant. Here's what J-14 posted on their website regarding this issue: "Despite Internet rumors, J-14 NEVER reported that Miley Cyrus was pregnant. Someone doctored the 'This Just In' article that appeared on page 16 of J-14's July 2007 issue, where a few of Miley's 'Hannah Montana' co-stars talked about her gross habits. Miley is an intelligent, respectable role model for young girls, and the editors of J-14 pride themselves on presenting our readers with credible stories and information."
Dan Rather sues CBS for $70 Million
The former anchor of the CBS Evening News, Dan Rather, is suing his former employer CBS for $70 Million dollars for what he believes was his wrongful termination. It's a lawsuit many analysts believe Dan Rather has no chance of winning because of how crazy it all comes out. Rather believes his newscast on George W. Bush's naval service was sabotaged by the Republican Party.
Barry Manilow afraid of "The View"
Musician Barry Manilow was set to appear on "The View" a few days ago, but it was reported that he made some demands. Mainly, he did not want to set anywhere near Elisabeth Hasselbeck and this was not allowed by Barbara Walters. Manilow ended up not appearing that day, but Walters did mention on the show that he may appear in future. It seems Manilow is good friends with Rosie O'Donnell and that's why he didn't want to sit near Hasselbeck.

Viciously Ridiculous
It's now time for the most ridiculous item of the television world this week.
MTV "reality" star Lauren Conrad from "The Hills" recently mentioned that she was so frustrated with her ex-friend Heidi Montag that she nearly quit the show. Heidi and L.C. had a major tiff over Heidi's relationship with Spencer Pratt. My theory that anything involving MTV is always ridiculous still stands.
The Vicious TV Babe of the Week Name: Eva Mendes TV Appearances: E.R., Mortal Kombat and V.I.P.
