The VICIOUS TV News Wrap 10.02.07
Posted by Steve Vicious on 10.02.2007

- Written in front of a not-so-live audience @ 411studios in California

Opening Segment - Introduction
Hello, and welcome to another edition of the TV News Wrap. Boy, did I find a juicy television related story for you this week. And that's our top story…

Top Story

  • The Eva Longoria Sex Tape
"Desperate Housewives" star Eva Longoria is the subject of a sex tape controversy. She allegedly has a sex tape floating around on the internet between Longoria and her now-husband NBA star Tony Parker. I have yet to find any images or any other information, but I'm just breaking this story right now. I also cannot confirm whether the tape exists, or if it's real or a fake one like the Meg White thing last week. The TV News Wrap will keep you up to date on this controversy soon. Let's hope it's real, for my sake.

    Random TV News

  • Paris cries on Letterman
Paris Hilton appeared on the Dave Letterman show last week and boy did she ever regret it. Letterman tore into Hilton on her time spent in jail. He was so "mean" to her she started to cry. Check it out on YouTube:

  • NBC orders new game show
The game show craze continues as NBC has ordered the Mark Burnett produced game show "My Dad is Better Than Your Dad". The game show will test fathers and their families in several challenges and stunts for the opportunity to win money and prizes. This isn't the only game show NBC has ordered from Mark Burnett, they recently ordered "Amne$ia", which tests contestants' memories for their chance to win cash and prizes.

  • "24" star charged with DUI
Kiefer Sutherland, star of the FOX series "24", was formally charged with two counts of misdemeanor drunk driving in Los Angeles on Friday. Early Tuesday morning, Sutherland was arrested for allegedly driving under the influence after making an illegal U-turn. His blood alcohol level was twice the legal limit of 0.08 percent. Sutherland was released on $25,000 bail. If convicted, Sutherland can face up to one year in county jail and a $1,000 fine. This arrest was Sutherland's fourth DUI-related arrest since 1989.

  • Michelle Rodriguez gets cited
Former "Lost" star Michelle Rodriguez was cited for violating probation regarding several motor vehicle offenses. Rodriguez has failed to fulfill her probation and may face jail time. Will she serve jail time? I doubt it.

  • Sci-Fi Channel renews shows
The Sci-Fi Channel has renewed "Eureka" and "Destination Truth" for next season. "Eureka" is going to enter its third season while "Destination Truth" will begin its second season on Sci-Fi.

  • CSI actress leaving show
Jorja Fox is planning on leaving CBS' highest rated program, "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation". E! News is reporting that Fox will not appear on the show after the series' seventh episode this season.

    Viciously Ridiculous

It's now time for the most ridiculous item of the television world this week.

Jessica Biel, former star of "7th Heaven", has decided to reject the role of Wonder Woman in Warner Bros. upcoming live-action version of "Justice League of America." What a shame, but I still think she's hot and that's why she's our TV Babe of the Week…

And in other ridiculous news, Pamela Anderson got married over the weekend to Rick Solomon. For those of you unfamiliar with Rick Solomon, he's the guy who made a sex tape with Paris Hilton. I think this is Pam's third marriage. Well, she's been married to three different guys – Tommy Lee, Kid Rock and now Solomon have all married the once hottest woman in the world. What a shame…
