Opening Segment - Introduction
Hello, and welcome to the Vicious TV News Wrap. It's another week of television news to cover, so let's get to it…
Top Story
Rosie O'Donnell trashes Barbara Walters some more
It looks like former "The View" moderator Rosie O'Donnell still has some hard feelings towards Barbara Walters. During an appearance at a New York comedy club, O'Donnell claims she was fired from "The View" last season. Rosie also mentioned how the other panelists on the show wore earpieces so producers could tell them what to say, but she declined to wear one. Roseanne Barr was also on stage with Rosie, which allowed for a somewhat double team of Walters. Rosie mentioned: "She interviewed presidents…" "Like Abraham Lincoln," said Barr. Man, Rosie needs to let it go and move on with her life.
Random TV News
Bonaduce versus Fairplay
While attending the Fox Reality Channel Really Awards 2007, former child star Danny Bonaduce got into a physical altercation with "Survivor: Pearl Islands" castaway Jon "Johnny Fairplay" Dalton. Bonaduce was presenting an award when Fairplay complained about the audience booing him. Bonaduce told Fairplay it was because the audience hated him, and this led to Fairplay jumping onto Bonaduce. Fairplay wrapped his legs around Bonaduce and began to hump him, then Bonaduce tossed Fairplay over his head onto the floor, face first. Fairplay was left with some dental problems that will require three root canal surgeries to correct the problem. Fairplay filed a police complaint against Bonaduce, but it looks like Bonaduce will not be charged with battery for the altercation.
Bionic Disaster
It looks like NBC's much-hyped series "Bionic Woman" may be in danger. The pilot episode received one of the highest ratings this season, but its second episode saw a 30% drop in the audience. That's pretty bad. In fact, it reminds me a lot of what happened with "Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip" last season. The show was also hyped like crazy and the ratings kept sinking and sinking until it was canceled at the end of last season.
The Hulkster is coming to network TV
The so-called "Babe Ruth of Wrestling" Hulk Hogan has signed on to host the reinvented version of "American Gladiators" for NBC. The series, which ran in syndication from 1989 to 1996, will appear as a mid-season run in 2008. The Hulkster is definitely a great fit to host a show of this caliber because of his wrestling background and he also has mainstream appeal. However, if the show is set to appear on NBC's mid-season schedule, then I believe it is destined to be doomed to return to syndication.

Viciously Ridiculous
It's now time for the most ridiculous item of the television world this week.
It looks like the Eva Longoria sex tape story was just a big hoax from Longoria herself. When the "sex tape" finally appeared online, it was just Longoria spoofing Paris Hilton's sex tape. This just goes to show you that some things are too good to be true.
