Hello, and welcome to the Vicious TV News Wrap. It's another week of television news to cover, so let's get to it…
Top Story
Family Guy done for the season?
It looks like the WGA strike has led to several layoffs for behind the scenes workers. "Family Guy" just happens to be one of those shows as Fox have fired all of the show's assistant workers and it has led series creator Seth McFarlane to lash out against the network. Speaking at a WGA rally, McFarlane compared networks such as Fox as "schoolyard bullies". McFarlane is so angry he has managed to pull of the remaining new episodes of "Family Guy" from Fox's schedule. That sucks, but it's understandable.

Bill Lawrence refuses to write series finale for "Scrubs"
Continuing my chat about the final season of "Scrubs" being in jeopardy due to the WGA strike, reports have circulated that series creator Bill Lawrence refused a request to write a backup series finale for the show. Thankfully for fans of "Scrubs," Lawrence said that the show will have a proper finale no matter what happens and even if he has to have the finale air next TV season, then he will do just that.
Not so Rosie on MSNBC
It looks like Rosie O'Donnell will not be competing with "Hannity & Colmes" or "Larry King Live" because she and MSNBC were unable to reach a deal to have her host the 9PM slot on their network. Reportedly Rosie wanted the same salary she was making on "The View", but MSNBC balked. I was actually looking forward to seeing O'Donnell on MSNBC because it would have made for great television. But alas, it wasn't meant to be. However, Rosie may do an online show instead. I'll have more on that soon.
FX renews "Damages"
FX has renewed their hit drama "Damages" for two more seasons. The show has been performing very well in the ratings department and the critics have been in love with the show since day one.

Viciously Ridiculous
It's now time for the most ridiculous item of the television news world this week.
MTV is at it again. I recently saw a promo for "A Shot at Love with Tila Tequila" and I think it's about the stupidest piece of shit they have ever aired on their network. The premise is that Tila is a bisexual and her contestants are both male and female. I feel stupid just writing about that shit. Shame on MTV again.
