Yeah I'm back to discuss inter-species erotica
Original Airdate: October 1, 1997
Production Code: 105
This episode might be one of the craziest in the history of the show. Everything is in here: elephants and pigs having sex, a kid getting beat up by his old sister, and bizarro Stan with the biggest of heads.
Kyle gets a pet elephant while Cartman has a new pot-bellied pig. The boys learn about genetic engineering and immediately want to splice the pig with the elephant to create a pot-bellied elephant. Other classmates try to decide to clone a human being. They head to the genetic engineering ranch where are introduced to Mephesto (a play on Marlon Brando’s character from The Island of Dr. Moraeu) and his little odd friend who is never explained.
Stan spends much of the episode being beaten up by his sister Shelley while Mephesto takes blood from Stan to create his own clone. Instead of splicing, the D.N.A Chef explains that the two animals must make sweet sweet love. The gang gets the pig and elephant drunk and they do their business, and it sure ain’t sweet.
The evil mutant Stan clone escapes and wreaks havoc on the town until the boys want him to confront Shelley.
Mephesto shoots the clone in the head while Shelley takes the blame for the house being such a mess. How the hell did the body of the clone get out of the house? That’s an error. It is only then that the boys and Mephesto learn their lesson. The boys win with their pot-bellied…Mr. Garrison? Well, that was certainly disturbing.
The “Screw You Guys, I’m going home ” for best line/moment of the episode: Cartman’s misogynistic rants against women sparsed throughout the episode are absolutely phenomenal and show just how funny Cartman could be given the opportunity. There is also the debut of the line this part of the review is named after: Cartman: Screw you guys, I’m going home.
Finally, the debut of another great line: Cartman: Man, I’ll kick you in the nuts.
The Pip moment for worst line/moment of the episode: Shelley… I don’t like her. Oh boy, does she get annoying fast. We also get Pip’s lame explanation of his name.
The “Oh My God, they killed Kenny!” moment: The evil mutant Stan clone kills Kenny shortly after breaking out by knocking him into the microwave and he is cooked.
Celebrities kick ASS (celebrities from this episode in bold)!: Patrick Duffy, Kathie Lee Gifford, George Clooney as a dog, and John Stamos’ older brotherElton John
The 411: A very weird episode that takes things a little to far, but most of the time is very funny. If there is one thing you can depend on in every episode of South Park it's Cartman doing little things to make the episode redeemable in every way. This is why the worst episodes of South Park usually don't have Cartman in them. This will apply to Butters too later on.
