Universal Hires Writer For A "Tortured Souls" Franchise

This guy is also working on a "Man-Thing". You read that right.
Universal Pictures has hired writer Hans Rodionoff to work on making Cliver Barker and Todd McFarlane's "Tortured Souls" figures a film franchise. Rodionoff has worked on "The Skulls 2", "Sucker: The Vampire", and is currently writing a film adaptation of the comic book "Man-Thing." (Shut up Marc.) IMDB.com already has a listing for a "Tortured Souls" project in Rodionoff's bio.
The original "Tortured Souls" figs each came with a small booklet about the character. When all 6 booklets are put together, they tell a story of the origins of the "Souls." Barker has already written a script based on that story.
Clive Barker and Todd McFarlane will produce the film.
