A new high school comedy…
According to Variety, Amanda Bynes, Lisa Kudrow, Alyson Machalka, Thomas Haden Church, Patricia Clarkson, Stanley Tucci, Penn Badgley (Gossip Girl), Cam Gigandet (Twilight), Malcolm McDowell, Daniel Bird and Emma Stone have all signed on for the high school comedy, Easy A.
Easy A will see Emma Stone as a high school girl who is alienated after a false rumor of her being loose runs through the school. She then uses the very same rumor mill to pit students and teachers against their liberal counterparts. Bert V. Royal scripted the film, and plans to weave in parts of The Scarlet Letter into the story
