[Movies] Sanders Could Direct DiCaprio In The Low Dweller
Posted by Ashish on 07.08.2009

Commercials director Rupert Sanders looks to be the frontrunner to debut The Low Dweller. The film is slated to star Leonardo DiCaprio. Ridley and Tony Scott are set to produce. Sanders has directed commercials for the X-Men Origins: Wolverine and Halo 3 video games and is also set to direct the upcoming remake of The Wild Geese.

The Low Dweller is a dark drama set in 1986 Indiana and has a tone similar to No Country for Old Men. DiCaprio would play Slim, a man released from prison after serving a murder sentence and wants to now marry his long-suffering girlfriend. He soon learns, however, that his brother has been murdered and is thus driven to avenge his death.

Brad Ingelsby wrote the script.

This sounds cool. I know nothing about the director though. Which is a big what if?

See, I read Sanders as Sandler. and I clicked for the whole "What the Hell?" reason. My mistake.
