While its not bad, think about what this movie really is. Its not really a movie at all.

I saw it today, amazing how much work goes into a big concert like that

As soon as I found out Astro Boy had Nick Cage in it, I knew it was doomed.

Not really. It's pretty obvious a lot of work would go into a big concert like that.

Hollywood needs to start making cheaper films. So many these days only just break even, or in Astroboy's case flop like 98 year old titties.

Any word on how Boondock Saints did in limited release?

Since Couples Retreat, Law Abiding Citizen and Stepfather all earned more than they cost to make I guess we are guaranteed sequels of all 3 followed by re-makes in a few years. Who says Hollywood ran out of ideas?

Where the Wild Things Are = EPIC FAIL!!!

Posted By: Someone (Guest)  on November 01, 2009 at 08:13 PM

Wild Things isn't a fail there is still the dvd release which will do fairly well i bet it isn't all about your box office and besides who cares that wild things hadn't made back its budget, the film was going to have a niche audience going into it so i'm not suprised to see the results. it seems these days people care more about the box office draw more than the quality of the film (ex. the downward slope that is the saw series) wild things is a quality film that everyone i know that has seen it loved it including myself and ultimately that leads to more buying it or renting the dvd. so epic fail, no, epic win, no, it's just a good little movie that's all

AMEN!!!... To Guest#2314 (Guest), Sorry to say, but so far it is!... Nobody makes a $100 million dollar Budget movie, just for pure quality reasons... they also want their fucking money back, and then some!... FLOP SEASON, is in FULL Effect...

Is there any news on how my life story film did at the box offices.....It had a budget higher than that shithouse where the wild things are movie.....and any move is better than a fairy little boys fantasy of being felt up by lots of jabba the huts.

Wow, four of these movies are on schedule to turn zero profit. What a crappy time for the cinema. Maybe I'm just spoiled after Zombieland.
