Paranormal Activity is coming up to having made 7000x its production costs, that must make it easily the most profitable film ever?
As for the list, 2012 looks like a typical disaster flick, which since there really haven't been any good ones in a few years means this will probably be worth watching. I also wonder if Disney would have saved money making a Christmas Carol a 2D film? $200m for an animated film seems a little steep.

2012 is actually getting decent reviews. 51 average on Metacritic, which is a lot more than most other dumb disaster/action films can say.

if people would realize the end of the world doesn't mean apocolpyse, it means autonment, ie: at-one-ment, ie: full realization of life. it will not be a bad thing, but a grand moment of human evolution, instead of being scared, we would all be so much better

No matter how bad 2012 is people are easily compelled into seeing the movie with a good marketing campaign.

Poor reviews? it got a 51 on metacritic and Roger Ebert gave it 3 and a half stars. If anything it got mediocre reviews. Ther eis no way this is the "Wost Movie Ever". Go watch Eternal Sunshine for the 50th time. Anyone that says anything is the "Worst movie ever" or the "greatest movie ever" is someone whose opinion should be expunged.

"Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire remains #1 with $102.6 million"
After next week, PRAY it stays that way!

2012 didn't remind me of the Godfather or Casablanca or anything, but it was decent for what it was, a special effects popcorn movie. It may not be everyone's cup of tea, but unless you seriously went to see this movie expecting some grand underlying meaning or Shakespearean dialogue, I can hardly see how this qualifies as anyone's "worst movie of all time". Hell, I rented a worse movie this week...Transformers 2! What a short attention span people have.
