In 1998, I was a waiter and served Helena Christensen. The owners always took care of celebs. She ordered $2500 worth of food and drinks. She was given all of it free. After being waited on by a staff of 5 waiters (me being the head waiter). She left NO TIP. She received top of the line service (the boss was eating with her). Free food, does not mean the waiters aren't working. Oh, and for those who say she doesn't eat... You're right. Most of that money was on alcohol. Coincidentally, I also served Claudia Schiffer (with David Copperfield), she received terrible service from me. I'll take full blame. It wasn't so much that I mistreated her. It's that the kitchen kept messing up her order or bringing the food out cold. She was so gracious and nice. Ultimately, she canceled her meal. Even though she didn't eat anything other than the starters, she left a nice tip.
