[Gossip] Brittany Murphy's Autopsy "Normal"

Plus friends talk about her inner demons with eating disorders and poor body image...
TMZ reports that Brittany Murphy's autopsy has been completed and showed no signs of foul play. It also did not point to a cause of death. The cause of death has now been deferred pending the results of the toxicology report and the histopathology report (study of her organs and tissues), as well as the neuropathology report (study of her brain). It will take 4-6 weeks for these reports to be completed.
Meanwhile, People has a story up featuring quotes from many people close to Murphy who stated that she has struggled for years with poor body image and eating disorders, as well as drug abuse. Clueless director Amy Heckerling believes her problems started on the set of Clueless.
"She seemed to go through a change on Clueless. Maybe she felt like she was not the, like, skinny, pretty girl, you know? And then the next few movies she was, you know, thinner, blonde … going out with Eminem and Ashton Kutcher."
yeah i remember she went through a period early this decade she was rail thin. drug abuse or not, rapid weight loss and gain can put stress on the heart.

clueless was nearly 20 years ago. i really dont think this is all that relevant to her death.

Don't underestimate the damage serious drug use can do to someone's system. There sre s lot of cases of people being clean for years and then having major health problems because of past drug use.

Clueless came out in 95. She died at 32. This means she was 18 when she was making this movie. There are a lot of reasons for a young actress to make the kind of choices to keep the lifestyle they have thrown upon them. She probably had eating disorders, and after so many years they can eat away at your body, and cause a lot of stress to your heart.
This has got to be a horrible way to die, and by the sounds of it she's been dying for a long time.

Um...no. Her next few movies were ones like Freeway, Drop Dead Gorgeous and Girl, Interrupted. She did 18 movies in seven years after Clueless before she was playing Eminem & Ashton Kutcher's girlfriends.
Not that her concerns during Clueless couldn't have contributed, but that statement is beyond misleading.

A lot of people are speculating that her death was caused by Swine Flu, because of problems from early disorders.
