[Movies] No Super Bowl Spot For Iron Man 2

That’s the word…

According to Variety, it looks as if the rumors of an Iron Man 2 Super Bowl spot were premature. Paramount is buying ads to hype Shutter Island and The Last Airbender, but decided not to buy ad time for Iron Man 2, which opens on May 7th.

Why WOULD they? They have all the hype behind them already. Dropping 2.3 million to "remind" people it's coming out 3 months later, when most people already KNOW it'll be coming out, just seems like a waste, when they could be (and are) using the money to promote other projects.
