[Movies] Cowboys & Aliens Gets A Release Date

Universal Pictures announced on Friday that Jon Favreau's Cowboys & Alines is set to release on July 29 2011, filling the date vacated by Battleship's move to 2012.

The DreamWorks projects is based on a Platinum Studios Comics graphic novel by Fred Van Lente and Andrew Foley. It is set to star Daniel Craig (Casino Royale) and Olivia Wilde (TV's House M.D.) and explores what would have happened if aliens had landed in the Wild West.
