[Gossip] Lindsay Lohan Is Suing E-Trade For $100 Million!

Oh boy…
Well this is a new one, Lindsay Lohan is suing E-trade over one of their baby commercials. Why? Well, during one of their commercials, they refer to a "milk-a-holic" baby, named Lindsay. That's right, the commercial uses the name Lindsay and they are suing over that, and apparently Lindsay wants $100 MILLION for pain and suffering. Lindsay's lawyer had the following to say about the case…
"Many celebrities are known by one name only, and E-Trade is using that knowledge to profit. They used the name Lindsay. They're using her name as a parody of her life. Why didn't they use the name Susan? This is a subliminal message. Everybody's talking about it and saying it's Lindsay Lohan."

Does Lindsay have a case, or is this just another useless lawsuit?
With that logic, anyone named Lindsay with any sort of drinking problem could sue. Only in 'merica.

This is the STUPIDEST lawsuit I've heard in a looong time....why is Lohan so pissed about a commercial that didn't even feature her face or anything? Lindsay is a common name...Why is Lindsay Wagner not pissed? or Lindsay Hunter? Stupid celebs....

I've seen that commercial a few times, and I didn't even think about Lindsay Lohan, until I read this. It just goes to show how far out of the public mind she really is. She's using this to get some attention, and this is really the wrong way to do it. Her career is truly over.

Even if they were referring to her, how could they be sued for making fun of her drinking problems if they are true? It's not slander if it's true, and she has documented alcohol issues. She should not be able to sue someone based on the fact that they attack her if it's not slanderous or libelous. Just for the record, I don't think this was an attack on her.
