Hey, retard bitching about bastardizing the suit? This is the Ultimate Captain America suit, so if it's bastardized, Marvel did it several years ago.

I like it - it looks like the body armor soldiers wear and instead of a non-protective mask, it looks like a form-fitting helmet, which would make a lot more sense. Did you really expect him to have little wings on it?

It looks pretty good, I like how the mask seems to to incorporate a helmet sort of... I do wish the wings were there but it's still a pretty nice looking suit.

I personally love it... and I am the BIGGEST CAP fan. When I read the description on joblo... I was pissed but, this is very good. I would only recommend that they do put wings on the helmet... maybe the wings could be painted on the sides... that could be cool and practical. Either way theses concepts are way better than the description of it. It makes me think they could do a good job updating Red Skull.

Yeah, I gotta go with Ralph. I was really torqued off at the description, but the actual art looks like it's a perfect hybrid of comic-style flair and practicality.

Also, Evans has a face that suits this kind of goofiness. I think most of the other frontrunners for the role would have wound up giving off a major cosplay vibe.

Not bad. It's a nice mix of making it realistic while letting you know it's still Captain America. If it looked comics accurate it would look lame, unless it was Ultimate Cap or the new Bucky Barnes Cap.

Actually, this isn't unlike the suit design in the animated "Avengers" movie from a few years ago... this was the WW2 era suit, and then when he is unfrozen in modern times, SHIELD gives him a suit that looks more like the design we're used to. Put me in the "like it" column.

I had kind of low expectations about how it would look, so color me pleasantly surprised...it actually looks pretty cool. Though I guess we'll have to wait to see how the real thing looks.

And I agree that the wings are a little hokey, but the costume looks kind of naked without them.

I always liked the 'Ultimate' Cap outfit a little better. Incorporating the straps for what looks like an LCE harness and making them red to tie in with the red and white stripes on his midriff is a stroke of genius! Like the reworking of the helmet/mask, too. WELL DONE!

Not bad, as long as the classic attire is used after the war. Chis Evans still doesn't look right as Rogers. I hope he surprises in the same manner that Heath did.

I give it an A-. Would have preferred the Ultimate helmet which was a standard GI helmet in blue. Why has no one mentioned that in WWII Cap's shield was actually shield shaped and not round? I hope the USO costume has that shield as a nod.

I don't get why they have The Human Torch the same as Captain America, I think every marvel character should have their own individual actor. Suit looks good though.

Anyone who hates on this is a true cynic. This is a great costume for a MOVIE. Do people really wanna see the cartoony suit from the old TV movies or the comics on the big screen? This is better than i could have ever imagined, it's so much like his Ultimate's suit so BRAVO.

While I do think it's more "realisitc" to leave the wings off, it is a trademark.

Why not compromise? Could the wings be emblems or patches on the side of the helmet instead of real wings? Or maybe just raised wings sewn into the side?

Overall, not the end of the world that they're missing, IMO.
