[Movies] Bruce Willis Confirms Die Hard 5
Posted by Chris Lansdell on 07.24.2010

Bruce Willis revealed recently that there will be a Die Hard 5. Bruce said the movie was "imminent" and that "the coin is about to drop in the slot machine."

Skip Woods has already started working on the screenplay, but when Bruce was asked if director Len Wiseman would take the helm again, he replied "Don't know. Don't know if we've gotten that far…"

Are you psyched for more John McClane?

Yippee Ki-fuck off!

Die Hard 4 was crap, please don't make this one crap.

R-rated or don't do it at all. Nobody likes when you go soft and hold back.

This time John McClane will be battling Mel Gibson's Hysterical Tapes

"the coin is about to drop in the slot machine."

If this is a hint that Die Hard 5 takes place in Vegas, I am fucking ALL OVER THAT.

And I'm laughing at the naysayers not wanting another entry in the franchise; it's called DIE HARD, did you really think it would die before Bruce did?

Yes, only if it isn't a steamy pile of PG-13 bullshit, then i'm totally game. And I don't want that fruit directing again

Posted By: DSN (Guest)  on July 24, 2010 at 09:34 PM

Yes as long as McTiernan comes back, so it's not a completely generic exercise in cookie-cutter action like Die Hard 4

inc crappy PG-13 action film

The unrated Die Hard 4 was pretty awesome. I was glad I waited for the DVD.

Please have Michael Bay direct this one, oh yes there will be explosions galore!

Posted By: Guest#3968 (Guest)  on July 25, 2010 at 06:43 AM

Not if it's going to be like the fourth one. That was easily the weakest of the series although it didn't ruin it like Indiana Jones 4 or Blues Brothers 2000.

The first three were great, but 4 was a pile of poo; completely missed the point of the Die Hard films, i.e no gimmick.

Posted By: Guest#6056 (Guest)  on July 25, 2010 at 07:15 AM

its going to be called "Old Habits Die Hard" , and have Willis fighting a bunch of evil Nuns...

huge fan of the first three, thought the fourth was garbage. make a fifth to redeem themselves and end it.
same thing goes with the indiana jones series.

If it's PG-13, I ain't goin.

Die Hard 5: Die Harderest

Posted By: Bruce (Guest)  on July 25, 2010 at 11:08 AM

I will be on board with this one only if they make it as bloody and gory as the last RAMBO movie. That movie had people cheering in theaters during the climax.

actually all the die hards have been very good. my only beef would be after 20+ years, he is still nothing more than a beat cop despite saving the world FOUR times.

Posted By: rey (Guest)  on July 25, 2010 at 12:40 PM

I don't get the hate for Die Hard 4 (Ok the PG13 is not as good as the Unrated..that is warranted) but Die Hard 2: Die Harder was easily the worst of the franchise. Die Hard 4 was not bad. I am totally amped for 5. Granted like others said, it needs to be R.

Posted By: Johnny Israel (Guest)  on July 25, 2010 at 12:41 PM

I thought 4 was good. Justin Long was great and Tim Olyphant was as good as he could be with such a poorly written role. Willis was Willis. I just thought the last big chase was way too over the top.

Before Live Free or Die Hard, no.

After seeing it... hells yeah! (Bruce's still got it. Oh, yes.)

Will McClane be saving Alzheimer's patients when the nursing home is locked down due to an unfortunate spread of Cdif??

Posted By: Sam795 (Guest)  on July 25, 2010 at 02:03 PM

Would LOVE to see is shot in Vegas.
It is sad - but we all think this is a good idea.
