[Movies] Paula Patton Joins New Mission: Impossible Movie

Deadline is reporting that Paula Patton (Mirrors, Déjà Vu) has been cast as the female lead in the fourth Mission: Impossible movie. Patton beat out Lauren Graham (Hostel: Part II) and Kristen Kreuk (Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun Li) for the role, which is said to be a "young operative" who works for Cruise's Ethan Hunt.
The site also confirms that the film will not be called Mission: Impossible IV and says that Cruise and J.J. Abrams "always envisioned it as a franchise reboot."
