[TV] New Shrek And Kung Fu Panda Holiday Specials Are On The Way
Posted by Larry Csonka on 09.07.2010

According to The Hollywood Reporter, NBC is teaming with DreamWorks to create new animated holiday specials with the characters from Shrek and Kung Fu Panda. Shrekless will be a Halloween themed show airing on October 28th, and will be paired with a replay of Monsters vs. Aliens: Mutant Pumpkins From Outer Space. Shrekless will see Shrek challenge Fiona, Donkey, Puss in Boots and the other fairy-tale characters to spend the night in Lord Farquaad's haunted castle telling scary stories.

Panda is set to air on November 24th, and will be paired with a replay of Merry Madagascar. In Panda, Po has to choose between his family obligations and his duty as Dragon Warrior when he's ordered to host a formal winter feast at the Jade Palace.
