Captain America: The First Avenger has begun filming over in London, England. You can view a blog covering the production of the movie here.
Here are some photos of the filming, featuring Cap in full costume. It looks like that's a stuntman in costume, not Chris Evans who plays Captain America. The scene involves a motorbike chase between Steve Rogers and agents of H.Y.D.R.A.
Ohhhhhh nooooooo! This worries me. That's not Chris in costume is it?

Stuntman does notlook right in that costume. Let's hope Evans wears it better. I do like that the wings on the helmet are at least painted on. They better be more prominent on the new costume.

Looks kind of funny when shown like this, but all superhero costumes do when they aren't shown to us properly.
Remember those awful early promo pics of the X-Men in costume that freaked everybody out? This will look awesome on film when all is said and done.

Cap's costume dosen't look quite right in the still pic on the stunt guy, but will probably look pretty cool with movie lighting etc...
Cap's bike looks like a pimped out US Army issue bike, The Hydra stuff looks like an old 40's movie serial.
And Captain America is being shot in London because half World War II happened in Europe, Dumbass!

does anyone know what era this is supposed to be? By the look of Caps bike it looks like this particular scene is WW2 but those Hydra bikes look pretty modern to me
I wont get to picky about the outfit just yet, as se7en17 said above you need to see this on the big screen before you can really judge

I don't like the 'muted colors' of the uniform, like they did with Superman Returns. Especially the reds. The outfit would look better with brighter color.

The lack of intelligence in the majority of these posts is astounding. We got the guy who asks if the guy is Chris in costume, when the article clearly states it isn't, then we have the guy asking why a World War II era film is being shot in London (go read a damn book), then we have a guy saying that a World War II era motorcycle looks lame while the ridiculous Flash Gordon style bikes look cool.
This movie will fail. But not because it sucks. But because a movie has to appeal to the morons to be considered successful, and the morons here are clearly not impressed. But only because they only know World War II from their Call of Duty videogames and haven't picked up a book since they finished the Poky Little Puppy.
