They're not happy over his David Beckham tweets...
GLAAD wants CNN to fire Roland Martin after a series of tweets about David Beckham that they consider homophobic.
Martin commented on David Beckham's H&M ads during the Super Bowl.
He tweeted: "Ain't no real bruhs going to H&M to buy some damn David Beckham underwear!...If a dude at your Super Bowl party is hyped about David Beckham's H&M underwear ad, smack the ish out of him!...I bet soccer fan Piers Morgan will be in line at H&M in the morning to get his hands on David Bechman's (sic) underwear line!"
He was accused of being homophobic by those on Twitter, and GLAAD commented: "Advocates of gay bashing have no place at CNN."
Martin replied: "Well you're clearly out of touch and clueless with what I tweeted. Way to assume, but you're way off base."
GLAAD now has a petition to get him fired, which currently has almost 2,000 signatures. CNN has yet to comment.

I don't even understand what GLAAD is angry about? there was nothing anti-gay in anything he wrote.
Those folks need to relax some.

Perhaps Roland Martin is just unimpressed with Beckham's design choices. Is GLAAD insinuating that only gay men shop at H&M?

Watched game with a friend who is gay and he said the exact same thing that this guy said, "that commercial isn't gonna drive straight men to their store, but I'm going."

Perhaps it was when he said "If a dude at your Super Bowl party is hyped about David Beckham's H&M underwear ad, smack the ish out of him!"
I can see how that could be perceived as a little off.
