Are you excited for the sequel?
It had been previously reported that The Karate Kid 2 would go into production. Now it is being reported that Jaden Smith has signed on for the sequel. The production is in early development, but it is known that Zak Penn ( The Incredible Hulk) will write the script.
Will and Jada Pinkett Smith will be back to produce the film. The first film (in 2010) made $359.1 million at the worldwide box office from a $40 million budget.
If it weren't for this kids parents, this once great franchise would not be tarnished. Pat Morita was actually nominateed for an academy award for the original film, while these cheat rip offs are being mainly used to expolit his kids and what makes it worse is, the SMiths kids cannot act to save their life. Hulk Hogan had better films than the Smith children, but thats not saying much. Would rather be forced to watch Santa with Muscles than any of the Smith kids movies. Hell the Smith kids make Shia LaBouf look like George Clooney in comparision. More Hollywood GARBAGE...PASS, much like the remake.

Its a shame that mediocrity has become the standard for all new Hollywood actors. Jaden Smith is as entertaining as watching re-runs of Barney and Friends.
