[Movies] Elizabeth Banks Says The Hunger Games Costumes Were "Torture"
Posted by George H. Sirois on 03.21.2012

Elizabeth Banks spoke with reporters about the costumes she wore when she played Effie Trinket in The Hunger Games, which opens in theaters this Friday.

Banks worked alongside head designer Judianna Makovsky and helped create her character's wardrobe. She said, "We've worked together before, and she just really knew my body and knew how to hang clothes on it. Everything was made for me. [But] They [were] all torture.

"My favorite costume is when we're watching the result show, and I'm in the big green [dress with] poufy sleeves. I love that outfit; it was the most comfortable."
