Happy Endings's finale disappoints...
American Idol helped get a win for FOX last night, even though it was down by over a million viewers in its first hour (the rating in the second hour was up).
Meanwhile, Survivor: One World was up and Betty White's Off Their Rockers did well for NBC, but the follow-up Best Friends Forever did not. ABC's Happy Endings also ended its second season with a low rating.
The CW performed well with the One Tree Hill series finale. The first hour had interviews with the cast and the finale itself brought an increase for the program.
FOX won with 16.65 million viewers and a 10.0 rating/16 share in households. It was followed by CBS (11.09 million, 7.0/11). ABC (3.85 million, 2.6/4), NBC (3.58 million, 2.4/4) and The CW (1.4 million, 0.9/2).
In the adults 18-49 demographic, FOX won with a 4.7 rating, followed by CBS (2.8), ABC (1.3), NBC (1.0) and the CW (0.8).
