Entertainment Weekly has the behind-the-scenes details of the post-credits scene in The Avengers. The scene was shot just three weeks ago
One of the interesting details is that Chris Evans had already grown in a full beard for his next role when it came time to film the post-credits scene three weeks ago. A prosthetic face had to be created for him and Evans uses his hands to cover much of his face during the scene.
